narrow minded northern and ewe tribalism have caused them to select appointees not based on competence and merit rather on who is my closer friend or who will not betray me . this group of liars and worthless criminals are just too busy being corrupt only for themselves and have no real duty to SERVE the interests of the nation or people . we witness the gradual disintegration of the institutions of state into corruption and with them the disappearance of the country is only a matter of time . these shameless individuals believe all they need to do is bullshit the people with propaganda the focuses on blaming the innocent be it the opposition , the Akans , external enemy forces and when that fails its now up to juju , voodoo or some other crazy foolish excuse . i say to them why dont they go and fire all the doctors , teachers etc as these troublesome groups want more money and replace them with herdsmen , latrine carriers , schoolboys so they can all learn on the job , it doesnt matter that the patients die in the meantime or as it is in the case of the govt nothing functions or reasonable lucid transparent decisions can not be taken . Common sense and an observant mind can only conclude Mahama is lucky they are only insulting him now , as when the insults , complaining and wailing stops it will only mean there is a firm decision to get rid of him and his corrupt selfish cronies in a bloody uprising . i predict he can continue in this hazardous manner just another few months until everyone is fed up with him and says its time to save the future for our children .its not a curse or juju , its just bad decisions and no true love for the people of this country .

Ghana has three hydroelectric dams: Akosombo dam, Kpong hydroelectric dam and the newly constructed Bui dam. Aside this we have the Aboadze power and Takoradi power plants. I am sure by now we can all conclude that the decision to invest in the West Africa Gas Pipeline was not a prudent one because Nigeria has admitted that Nigerians would not be able to supply us with the gas that we need.

However what is disturbing is that the additional power being generated is not being used by our industries or consumers. We supply Togo, Benin and Nigeria through two grids one in the south and one in the North. We also supply ivory coast and Burkina Faso with electricity. Inspite of this the cost of electricity to the average consumer has not declined and many would tell you that it is very expensive. There is another thing I don't understand. The government sometimes tells us there is power crises meanwhile electricity supply to other countries from Ghana continues unabated.

A look at the map of the national electricity grid would tell you straight away that the at least 12 Akyem districts in the Eastern Region which make up more than half the population of the region have been cheated.

In the load shedding exercise it is imperative that some key areas be left out. This should include where the three arms of government work and reside like Sakumono where MPs (representatives) reside and flag staff house and osu castle where the President works and resides. Where the chief justice works and resides should also be included. It should also include the premises of key government institutions like ministries.We need to quadruple our electricity production within the next four years but not through foreign investors.

It is NDC propaganda machine that is killing Ghana Economy and keeping the Nation in darkness. President Kuffour built a lot of generators to supplement power outrage. Go to Kumasi the generators Kuffour built could solve power problem in that community. But NDC says they will not allow all these good ideas work for Ghanaians. Kuffour extended these generator facilities to Military Barracks and strategic areas yet NDC has neglected the good ideas. NDC Gov't always collapses the economy before they are kicking out. President Rawlings time the same thing happened and thank God he brought President Kuffour to redeem the economy. Ghanaians should take note that NDC is a Party of doom to the Nation.

If NDC Gov’t were to allow the Oil agreement which President Kuffour and his NPP Gov’t signed, to work; Gas wouldn’t have been a problem for Ghana at all. The reason is that the Company which was to drill the oil was to install the Gas machines for Ghana to benefit the 100% Gas agreed upon. NDC you don’t know the thing but you say you know the thing. Look at the stage you have brought the Country to. SHAME UNTO NDC!!!

But there is a high chance and clear case of sabotage by personnel within the power sector working on their own behalf or that of 'others'.
Management of the national power system must be taken and should be regarded as a top continuous national security issue. Research and look into personnel actions and in-actions; listen to their responses, and you would find the clues and answers to why this problem is persisting.

Saboteurs come from upper, middle and lower management. And even those who do not work in the power sector.
'Something' does not seem right, if anyone gets the drift.
