So what this professor says can be done to solve the problem if he thinks is strategic leadership issue? What I see as the problem with all Ghanaians is, that we seem to know all problems facing the country but still cannot do anything about them. Reminding ourselves daily that we have problems is now turning to become solution, reminder is not solution.

Personally, I find Ghana's answers to our problems must begin with resetting the fundamentals of our background that would solve our identity crisis. Issues we face as economic, political, etc. have all come about as RESULT of some problems than CAUSE of our problems.

What we must firstly IDENTIFY are issues that are fundamentally FOR and/or AGAINST us. Where did we begin as a people and where are we today? What expectations had we and what made it achievable and unachievable. We cannot throw our identity away, put on some other peoples' identity and expect to be better just because we change our 'outer' persons whiles the 'inner' remains the same.

My elementary history tells me that Egypt civilization was the foundation for modern civilisations, science, literacy, culture, social devt, etc. The Greeks and Romans, then later the English empire whom we think thought us writing, etc. had their foundation from Egypt. Even Moses who wrote the bible which we believe to be the bedrock for morality and conscience had his education as slave boy from Egypt. In about 400 years of slavery, the Jewish religion we follow today began from Egypt, and that what Moses wrote about as their culture, food, language, etc prescribe in the bible for us as the 'way' were made in Egypt. Lets wake up African, all the so-called 'enlightenment' from the West beginning from religion to governance, rule of law, etc. were ours already. No time to dig into these too much, but please lets check some of the little facts stated here and analyse them ourselves.

Why don't we trust ourselves and build on our own, rather than waiting for some white people to pick what we already have turn it around and give back to us before we think is better?

This leadership crisis begins with lost of identity, simples! I'm not educated, but common sense tells me that if we don't know who we are, we either become nobody or may become somebody's property (modern slavery).

I throw the challenge to all Africans, especially the learned ones to firstly work on identifying ourselves, secondly educate ourselves to re-align with whom we are, thirdly build trust in what we have, etc. before we can change for better. Anything can change, but who we are as Africans cannot change. So therefore, it would be wise that we work with and develop on what we are and have with us to become profitable than going after some other peoples' identity that would be still fighting ours and eventually destroy us. narrow minded northern and ewe tribalism have caused them to select appointees not based on competence and merit rather on who is my closer friend or who will not betray me . this group of liars and worthless criminals are just too busy being corrupt only for themselves and have no real duty to SERVE the interests of the nation or people . we witness the gradual disintegration of the institutions of state into corruption and with them the disappearance of the country is only a matter of time . these shameless individuals believe all they need to do is bullshit the people with propaganda the focuses on blaming the innocent be it the opposition , the Akans , external enemy forces and when that fails its now up to juju , voodoo or some other crazy foolish excuse . i say to them why dont they go and fire all the doctors , teachers etc as these troublesome groups want more money and replace them with herdsmen , latrine carriers , schoolboys so they can all learn on the job , it doesnt matter that the patients die in the meantime or as it is in the case of the govt nothing functions or reasonable lucid transparent decisions can not be taken . Common sense and an observant mind can only conclude Mahama is lucky they are only insulting him now , as when the insults , complaining and wailing stops it will only mean there is a firm decision to get rid of him and his corrupt selfish cronies in a bloody uprising . i predict he can continue in this hazardous manner just another few months until everyone is fed up with him and says its time to save the future for our children .its not a curse or juju , its just bad decisions and no true love for the people of this country .

Reports of no police presence during KNUST examinations especially at the medical school at KATH.

With WASSCE and BECE there is police presence and any student caught cheating is immediately arrested. University exams demand even greater policing.

Nowadays businesses and government organisations have stopped demanding Secondary School Certificate or Basic Education Certificate.

Each of these certificates are important. For example for many tertiary graduates the only certificate that can tell whether one can speak good English or whether one has adequate knowledge of Mathematics is the Secondary School Certificate.

Similarly the only certificate that can tell whether a tertiary graduate has basic knowledge of Ghanaian history, culture, basic agriculture and the basic geography of West Africa is the Basic Education Certificate.

Our leaders and learned one hloding Dr and professor degree lack the ability to bring orde in the continent. Because they have received a depository education instead of emancipation education.

Reason entails knowledge and konwledge entails science but not wisdom. The hloe continent lacks wisdom to lead its own people. The cause of our lack of developement can also ascribe to the fact that we don't have our own prophet and religion. Als an alternative we embraced foreign prophet and religion to the deteriment of our
citizens.

When there are social unrest in Africa, the media in western ascribe it something between Christian and Muslim, while these two religions are not African's. How can we fight each other about something which not ours?.

Are we sensible?. Don't be proud of any charachter or something which is not yours. Otherwise you will end up like an object' which anybody can use.

They came in to kill and plunder and no one has been held accountable. We wonder why things are not going well in Ghana. Dont Ghanaians know they destroy their leaders who love Ghana. Did we not destroy Dr Kwame Nkrumah too but then we let in others to plunder Ghana. I dont know the answer to our problems but I think if we start by teaching love for our motherland maybe our leaders will work hard to make the motherland a great country but right now most are asking what is in it for me and that is dangerous. Greed and selfishness must go for Ghana to heal. Then we need a leader who has vision to order things. You dont need someone with a gun to come again to harass women and kill our brave people who dared to speak up.

We cannot blame Africa for the failures in Ghana. Ghanaians must remember life is about making decisions and in Ghana we've come to normalize love of tribe and political party over love of or for country. As a nation we have the uneducated and the undereducated have delegated the right to think into the hands of the few so-called adequately educated elite class who as we know claim to be card carrying members of the NPP. It is a party that gave us all our allusion of a democratic system of government and endorsed the 1992 constitution that has set up members of parliament, the president and the judiciary as lords instead of being glorified civil servants. Yet under this mirage of living free from Nkrumah we've seen the rise in killings, tribal preferences, abuse of power by people holding executive public posts and stealing of money. So what did we shed off from life under the CPP? For people who prosper under this era of tribal divisions it is all worth it but if democracy is just about being free from tyranny then UK, US and all the greatest democracies we've come to know would be hollow because they all had a section of their citizens subjugated and worse off than anyone or any group ever lived under Ghana's CPP. We traded fantasy for widom and we lost.

The Ghanaian elites, just like their counterparts in other African countries look down on the so-called "nkurasefuo", and in my opinion, that's the main reason Operation Feed Yourself didn't succeed. Urban bias is killing us.
It is the source of our socio-economic and political problems. And they will persist until return to our villages and show respect to the so-called "kookoasefuo".

Rural Electrification is the start to transform our socio-economic and political economy.
