At this stage in national politics, why come out with this irrelevant comments? Would it help him in the next ellection? Can he prove it? Why didn't he go to the supreme court to prove it? Doesn't this comment indict him as a clueless politician?

Does Allan really believes that votes from Nana Addo were stolen and padded to Mahamah's votes hence Nana Addo lost. There were international observers in Ghana from Israel, Germany, France, Great Britain and United States as well as some African states observers. They all put their thumb prints on the election results as being open, fair and genuine except some few irregularities. Irregularities are found in every elections everywhere, even in developed countries.

When Dr. Bawumia was asked why did the NPP polling agents sign the pink sheets he stated that they were there as observers yet NPP did not call any of the polling agents to testify. Of course everybody knows they wouldn't expose them to be riddled with series of questions.

Mr. Kyeremanten should sing a song that portray him as a credible individual with ability to be a president and stop making utterances that smear the names of our president, judges and bring disrepute to Ghana's courts of justice.

Alan,please you are gentleman & should speak as such.Your party went to court with duplicated & quadruplicated pink sheets just to shore up numbers to win an election which is supposed to be won at the polling stations at court.Your party was even confuse in presenting their case.They initially filed 4,709 pink sheets as evidence of wrong doing,they later amended it to 11,842, then along the line abandoned 704 which brought the figure down to 11,138. In their final address to the court, the figure was pegged at 10,119 .What a confused party!88% of your evidence(pink sheet duplicated serial numbers)was trampled upon by all the 9 judges. The 12% left were irregularities which didn't have any effect on the elections. Think about this!

I never expected such a statement coming from a highly respected individual like Alan Kyeremanteng. The court heard all evidence in the case and came to the conclusion that President Mahama duly won the elections. As such, we should all respect and accept the decision of the court.

Despite the serious negative effects the 8 month long litigation had on our economy, the country has moved on. We don't want such a statement from Alan at this time.

The NPP should re-examine themselves to find out what actually caused them the elections. Not until they are able to do so and take the necessary steps to correct their mistakes, the NPP will remain in opposition for a long time.

I strongly believe the Statesman deliberately, conveniently added to whatever Alan said to put the man on a spot. It seems to be a calculated scheme to render Alan's campaign to deny Akufo-Addo a third run for the Presidency an unnecessary effort.

If Alan believes Nana won the 2012 Elections, then why would he question the ability of Nana to win the Presidency again in 2016, or claim to be any better candidate for the Presidency than Nana?

For most NPP folks, their main desire is for the Party to replace the NDC from the helm of govenance, and would rather prefer a candidate who could do so, and not necessarily one that could be a better President. Therefore, if Alan truly said that Nana won the 2012 Elections, then he, Alan, concedes to the ability of Nana to win again in 2016. In that case, Alan might have only offered his own base that did not believe that Akufo-Addo could wrestle the Presidency from Mahama, an assurance that Nana could, and his, Alan's, reason to challenge Nana then would not be justified or tenable.

People often believe more in someone who has succeeded before than another who has no such track record. In the case of NPP members, all that matters is knowing some candidate has the winning formula for them to vote for that person.

Whatever else, regarding personal attributes of Nana's that the rest of the Nation might be worried about do not affect the average NPP member's calculation. Alan's contest is more relevant only if people could see Nana's failure to clinch the win in the 2012 and 2008 as reflective of his inability to win in 2016.

The Stateman Newspaper might have deliberately put Alan on this spot because it might like to use any possible refutation of that assertion by Alan against him that he had never supported the NPP going to Court to appeal the Election results. That might be easily misconstrued to mean Alan is not a committed NPP leader.

Now, Alan, must wisely deflect that curved ball by responding emphatically that whatever the SC decided for the Election Appeal is what he and all must abide by because he believes in the rule of Law. Then, he could go on to suggest that his candidacy would help the NPP win by a much wider margin that could make any adulteration of the results almost impossible, and there would be no need to go to the Court for a final decision. The Statesman and Nana's Camp are playing poker. That's foxy! Very tricky!! But Alan must prove to them he could outsmart them.

To date Nana Akuffo Addo has clearly demonstrated that he has no great appeal outside of the NPP especially amongst non Akans. If the NPP stubbornly ignores these realities then I'm afraid that it is headed for certain defeat in 2016.

What is so worrying is that they don’t mind destroying others because they want power. Attacking and distracting leaders without sound alternative is not only sickening but also portrays immaturity and emptiness of these cohorts. They just want to do or say something to grab unnecessary attention. They have no solution???. if you test their opinion by deep analysis, you always end up by cheap and shallow political biases and unfounded allegations. This is what has gripped the so called civil society.

They behave like ostriches pretending all is fine. How on earth did they end up in a hair dressing salon for a loan? These are the kind of people they are.
