  It is unfortunate that the Gold Coast authorities (both local and the British)did not follow up to mass produce the Abotsi drug for the cure and prevention of Guinea worm invented by the late Dr. Raphael Armattoe at his Lomeshie Research Laboratories in Londondery, Ireland after his death in 1953.
