  EIS should not be prepared by EPA for developers. There shd be a registered EIA practitioners who will carry out that job and submit to EPA for approval without bribes. If it goes like this and refree is no more a player, the ...

  EIS should not be prepared by EPA for developers. There shd be a registered EIA practitioners who will carry out that job and submit to EPA for approval without bribes. If it goes like this and refree is no more a player, then the EIA regulation is itself efficient. We hv to expand the number of listed activities to require environmental permit cos there are many other activities that are not listed but cause serius environmental problems for example, drinking spot operation, chopbar operation, hair saloon etc
