When we fail to make our assets, Action plans and policies transparent, this is what happens. I pray parliament to publish the economic problems and assets handed over to the Mahama government and show how and where they erred in running the government. So far all is convoluted and characterized as NPP did this, NDC did that, with all the citizens not aware of any assets left or any problems left behind by the previous government. I hope we have intellectuals in the parliament to set the record straight. If they fail to heed to what they are reading now, Ghana will soon have a civil war allowing the soldiers to come out of their barracks to maintain law and order. Secondly this sort of protest can only take place in the Ashanti Region, the known stronghold of the NPP. So far as the NPP are not in power, they will not accept anything outside their party. Either they rule Ghana, or will not give any party the peace of mind, no matter how best they try. They did it to Nkrumah till they conived with the CIA to overthrow him. These kind of demonstrations should not be done by every Tom Dick and Harry. These hardships affects all not a particular Party so it should be done by the whole country, It is not members of a particular party that are suffering or a section of the country it affects all in the country so all should take part in these demonstrate to make it effective. Lets do it the American Million Man or The Arab Spring Uprise style. Our uprise is not against the NDC per se but against the incompetence of a do-nothing government of President Hahama. We in the diaspora will also do our part to make it effective.

There's no point abusing these demonstrators if they're not politically motivated.We hear and confirm by the exchange rate that Ghana is in a mess.It is a fact that no government has ever stabilised the rate although there had been variations in its magnitude.There's also no point to compare the performance of our past leaders but we must accept that inflation is galloping and we need to stem this tide as long as we love our nation because a rising tide would lift all boats.Is this predicament based on corruption alone?Or is it a deliberate act of economic saboteurs?MPs are not helping at all and their size must be reduced.In short,we need to come together and tackle this matter effectively.

Peaceful demonstration to get attention of the government in any democratic state is accepted. But we Ghanaians some times see this as a war or way of throwing out the government in power. The write-up have not say anything about grievances of the protestants on paper presented to the government, so I quest I have to proceed without talking about it even though its the core of the demonstration. Now, NPP is demonstrating under whose leadership? The party chairman who is not a presidential candidate for the party? NPP have not shown us its 2016 manifesto on how to rescue the country from its vast problem yet they took to the street under what umbrella? Under what manifesto? Under what better plan? Under what flag bearer-ship? NPP as a party is yet to give us a better alternative to President John Mahama. This kind of demonstration at this time that we are expecting a lot from the NPP, it should be organised in the name of the Citizens not under the party umbrella. This demonstration is a bit early and this might be one of the reason why some NPP members were calling for early congress. After this demonstration, NPP will now go and fight themselves for presidential candidate. We rally with the NPP under former President Kufuor by mounting a huge "kumipreko" demonstration, one of the biggest demonstration in history. But now NPP is doing the same thing without a leader. You may have people vying for the flag bearer-ship but certainly its not all of them are a better alternative to lead the party. NPP has started behaving like a child who thinks we live to eat. Untimely demonstration is not political strategies. NPP must get serious and set its priorities right, if they truly have the antidote to our country problems. God Bless Ghana,

Npp leadership is once again demonstrating its irresponsibility, lack of statesmanship and leadership.

What does this demonstration achieve?

The country may currently be facing some challenges. Yet there is a lot being done to improve the economic infrastructure of the country including the Western corridor gas pipeline to produce electricity from our thermal plants, roads, schools, hospitals, expansion of Tema and Takoradi ports, rehabilitation of our railways and many more.

Would it not be more sensible for the NPP to support the good work that is being done building our economic infrastructure, and to offer useful suggestions for national development, than to organise demonstrations against government for goodness knows what?

The NPP leadership should stop and rethink its political strategy. The party is alienating voters by politicising everything and indulging in negativity. NPP may well pay a heavy electoral price for lack of common sense.
