Whilst the information provided are useful, I am shocked by the elementary mistakes made by traders or the business men and women who operate in China, especially, carrying huge sums of cash on them. Why not in travellers cheques? Is it not common sense that one ought to be careful in transacting business in China or a foreign land, especially, when one does not speak the language? These elementary mistakes are indicative of the sort of leadership and management problems Ghana is currently going through.

a dead and rotten Chinese is a good one. they are very advanced and sophisticated in online scam now... never see nice decorated websites in china and begin business with them,, even when you see genuine factories,,they have setup within them.. once they take your money ,,they scatter when you grab them, they tell you they don't know who receive the money from you..anytime you wanna buy, go to the factory and get them packing ur goods as you are paying..never leave the goods with the factory for even 20 minutes, they will replace your goods with pal oil rags

English isnt our mother tongue so you need to be happy Dan and myself are even trying to make you understand our point.

I have no sympathy for anyone from africa who looses money to scammers.People forget that services should and must be paid for. Example,a company may need a machine or product and you spend your time and effort to get one instead of the african company engaging you to do the follow up they by pass you and they end up being scammed.
Africans think they are the only poor people in this world so paying money to his brother african to help him is wrong, he will hire a chinese and he ends up into trouble, as I say no tears to africans who are scammed.they know it all so they should cry their own cry. A good friend of mine did the same thing, he wanted to buy a tooth pick making machine, he asked me to give the company information, I trusted him and he went behind me to buy without me knowing only to know the money went to another account.It was then he came back for my assistance.
See how stupid we are when we try to out smart others just because of 1000usd I would have benefited he lost 20,000 usd.

But traders should consider carrying money on a card than on them. Maybe a few dollars to buy stuff like a snack if u hungry when u arrive at airport.

How on earth they will go about and publish this news on the ghana web? or just to let peopel know their mobile no and call them to bring more money for them to use again.Am not saying what they are talking about is not true but what i want to tell Ghanian citizens who want to come and do business in china is to be sure that the person or company they are coming to deal with is real and they must not rush to pay money to the companies they are dealing with.

Again the Ghanian community in guangzhou or china is no more function because the leaders took advantage of the position they held to engage in politics so the community is now dead.The chairman himself s owning a certain man from kumasi more than usd40,000 so i founf hard how they will go around to publish this news.I dont want to state how he got the money but if i see any news on Ghanaweb that Ghanian community publish on the same topic then i bring the details how the chairman of the dead Ghanian community own the man.
