Finance Ministry noted that the incidence of poverty declined from 39.5 percent in 1998/99 to 28.5 percent in 2005/06. So it was the NPP that generated the growth. NDC, ensure that the rate goes down even further.

Indeed poverty levels reduced significantly during the Kufuor NPP era, however the same cannot be said for the NDC era, and those are the facts.
