Blackstars had been given $9.5 million by the Sports Ministry which it doesn't need since FIFA will give Blackstars $9.5 million even if we lose all three of our group matches. We will end more if we qualify from the group.

There are more than 3000 Ghanaians in Europe and USA who are going to Brazil to cheer the team up.

We have more than 10,000 Ghanaians residing in Brazil and we can get at least five hundred from this group to go to the stadium so why should the government even pay a dime to send anybody to Brazil?

Just wait after the tournament and see the corruption being perpetrated on Ghanaians.

In a country where so many people cannot afford two balls of kenkey or traditional ball of fufu, with some decent soup for a whole day, we are paying that much for some people who have never put in one a day of useful work, to go and watch football in far away Brazil?

I know some churches that run "soup kitchen" for street people in Accra. Just imagine how many of these our unfortunate compatriots can be fed a day with $26,000.
