In as much as I would like to condemn the behaviour of this toddler of a DCE, I would equally condemn the threat on his life by the queen makers or whatsoever they are. Is burning him in his car the solutions to his behaviour? What is interesting is the fact that the guy has boasted telling the BNI his criminal intends. Is such boasting and daring before a law enforcement officer not enough to constitute offence for which he should be arrested and prosecuted? Let us be very careful the way we are doing things in this country. Having said that, the government needs to re-examine the issues of these DCEs. Majority of them are fast becoming a law onto themselves. I will not be suprised if it is as usual,politics and party affiliations.

You need to follow the story well and if you do you will realize the DCE may be right.
There is a litigation going with regards to this land and allowing one faction to develop it can result in a violence so the best thing to do is to stop the project which is exactly what the DCE did.
That project as described here will not employ even 50 people as they want us to believe but whether the project will employ million people or not the DCE is right.
Somebody should tell the Queen Mother and her followers that when they say childish behavior it is not an insult it could be offensive to some especially saying that in the local languages but it is not an insult.
As an Assemblyman who is so ignorant about the law and threatening,he should be arrested for threatening the life of the DCE.
That area is one of the few areas in Ghana the people always complaining about the DCEs especially if he is not one of their own.

Disrespect for elders and institutional authority began with Rawlings when he gatecrashed his way into the limelight of Ghana politics and has since been drafted into our moral code of ethics. It gained notoriety and rapidly became the new norm. Today we're reaping the rewards of the seeds of lawlessness, indiscipline and disrespect that we sowed when Rawlings was the de facto leader. We haven't seen nothing yet.
