What is this man talking about success? Why is it that we always see our solution as BORROWING? When shall we learn to be innovative using own abundance of resources to create wealth? Instead of stealing the contry's money, why can't the government partner with private Business people to invest in the old and abandon factories in Ghana. Here are some examples, Komenda Sugar Factor, Kade Match Factory, Kade Rubber Factory, Shoe Factory, Jute Factory, Tata, Matress Factory and many of such. Think about the economic activities this kind of investment will generate and the jobs to be created for the youth. Obama invested in the Auto industry in America when they were at the point of failing. Now it's paid off for them. THINK GHANA FIRST !!!

The Bank of Ghana (BOG) has no Eastern Regional headoffice. I don´t believe that the BOG has accurate data of the economic activity in the at least 12 Akyem districts which make up more than half the population on the region. The GDP and GNI of these Akyem districts are very high. They stem from:

Gold mining
Diamond mining
Cocoa
Oil Palm (the largest in West Africa)
Timber
Software development
etc

The money supply and capital in the at least 12 Akyem districts are wholly inadequate. BOG must remove impediments to the setting up of rural banks in these districts and encourage ADB and GCB to open branches in these districts.

The government must further ensure that wholly owned Ghanaian banks, including rural banks, get at least 80% of the banking revenue.
