  "Centro de Evetos" simply means "Events Center", and Mardunas is the name of the town or area where the Events Centre is located. An events centre is never a "RESORT" as the Minister would have GHANAIANS believe. We had more than a year to plan our participation in the Brazil World Cup, and we have an Embassy in Brazil which could have arranged suitable accommodation in town for our supporters well ahead of time if empowered to do so. Why did it have to take the Minister himself to go to Brazil to arrange the very lousy out of town accommodation at the very last minute? Why???
