It is clear many commenting don't even understand the import of this dismal news, nothing new to some of us who have been working closely or reading Solomon Kwawukume's treatises on the billions of $$$s Ghana is actually losing under the current agreement with the FOCs! We have been told how much Ghana has earned from total oil lifting from its territorial soil so far and nothing about how much the foreign oil companies are ripping off our backs at our own backyard. And all you guys can do in response is ask inane qs and indulge in your usual putrid and useless insults which does not even scratch anybody's thick skin.

It is a disaster that the oil companies have bought off practically all the key journalists in Ghana, with so-called scholarships to study courses relating to petroleum and gas. Some are even on monthly retainers with them. There is therefore total silence on how Ghana is being ripped off! All we get are pathetic rationalisations of why the FOCs are entitled to the loot.

The write failed to explained why Ghana's share is rather decreasing in percentages. Fact is, it has been pre-determined by the powers that be - the World Bank and the IMF - that Ghana gets £20bn from the valued $160bn oil in the Jubilee Fields. So the foreign Jubilee Partners have worked out a mechanism to cheat Ghana, by adjusting for what we get so that at the end of 20 years, we get only £20bn irrespective of whether final output final was $160bn or $260bn! Any else we get in addition shall be portrayed as great benefit and charity to us, for which, these bought journalists shall write epilogues to praise these leeches sucking our own blood!

Ghanaians are indeed pathetic, and certainly overwhelmingly not civilised!

Because of a few reasons:

1) Ghana didn't have any trained oil experts to explore Ghana for oil. The oil was discovered by MR. BOBO (Whiteman) and to tell us to the face, from our foolishness and technological impotence, he gave us only 13% and kept the rest. Even if I were the Whiteman, I would have offered Ghana only 5%--take it or leave it, as a punishment—since without me (the Whiteman), you couldn’t have discovered the oil in the first place—you damn Negro!!

2) Ghana, again, has VERY BAD and GREEDY ASS negotiators. The people, who negotiated the oil deal with Mr. BOBO, were damn incompetent, not skilled, not knowledgeable and, above all, TOOK BRIBES for themselves and left Ghana to hang dry.

3) That we didn't, and still do not, have the technological know-how to REFINE any high quantities of the black gold (oil). For starters, check the Tema Oil Refinery for size; and

4) Lastly, the Whiteman knows well that because of Ghana's "technological impotence", Ghana would accept any deal just to get a little something than nothing at all and sure, Mr. BOBO is doing overtime exploiting it. When will the Negro study hard, grow up, think hard and be wise enough to be counted?

The Whiteman has done, and continues to do, the same with our Gold, Diamonds, Bauxite, Cocoa, Timber and the other raw materials: WE DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIND THEM AND WE DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE THEM PROPERLY OURSELVES.

The truth hurts but folks, we are here and Indians come to drill bore hole for us. what can we do? For the oil money no government can touch it. you can verify from Parliament. It is called Heritage Fund and need approval from Parliament before it can be touched. NDC and NPP will have to agree first. Unfortunately both Parties are full of thieves so they may in future agree to use some on their concubines. For now GHANA has not utilized its small share of this USD2billion.

I would rather we curtailed all production with immediate effect and leave the asset for generations to come. Hopefully, one they would have the know-how to mine the oil themselves and own a better share of the asset. After all, after four years of production, the revenue from the oil find is not alleviating our problems.

Oh interesting and $20million dollars has been used to build a multi-storey NDC party headquarters at Adabraka cheap, whilst Publishers are wallowing in debt for printing atlas for schools for which they haven't been paid by gov't, caterers under the school feeding program have not been paid, nurses are having problems getting paid, Christian hospitals have not been paid under the NHIS and therefore have resorted to the cash and carry system with it's problems on patient mortality, filth has engulfed the country and especially Accra like a dumpsite, flooding is the order of the day when the rains set in, but an order is given for drains to be constructed in the midst of the floods etc, etc, and we wonder why the country is sinking further and further into the abyss. What a joke...

Schools are crumbling, hospitals are empty, streets are dark, small businesses cannot function for lack of electricity, no good drinking water, sanitation at it's worst, workers and contractors not paid, roads in worse shape, cost of living going up everyday, factories and companies stopped production, unemployement at all time high, the Ghanaian currency not worth a toilet paper and the list goes on .....
