What a shameful act by an unscrupulous officials who have no integrity to lead in any institution. Nyantakyi says he is going to sue but he will end up running from the courts after seeing the evidence.

You are illiterate to understand the propensity of this saga. Open your eyes, be wise and think proactively to deduce that what Kweku Baako is saying is right. We all support the players so if there is any issue regarding unpaid 'appearance fee" and allowances", they shouldn't have made a huge hullabaloo to bring Ghana to shame on somebody's foreign nation. The players are immature, irresponsible, unwise, selfish, and greedy. Do they know their incompetence and poor performance killed some people in Ghana after they lost to U.S.? Do they know how many people have had heart-attack as a result of their foolishness--always fighting in camp, disrespecting Kwaesi Appiah, drinking alcohol and chasing women? Do they know why they are paid by the poor Ghanaian tax payer's money? Ghana is dirty everywhere and there is no money to pay Zum Lions to clear refuse but we have had $3 milion to pay only 23-players who have not won any victory for Ghana and you think this is a joke? If you are a big fool, allow sensible, loyal and patriotic Ghanaians to talk about Ghana. In a nation where there is no adequate electricity supply, lack of portable drinking water, no jobs, lack of food, poor roads, and high rise of prostitution among High School student ladies and University graduates, you think all is well in Ghana so nobody should talk about the bad behaviors of Black Stars players and GFA? You are not serious at all. President Mahama will fire all the leaders when they return home. They are nor poor and therefore people like you are not honest but to talk on politics. What I can tell you is that you are naïve. Some stars represents their country free after all $100,000 is just a dollar to them.

FIFA has not released the money yet, the Ghanaian government used its own funds pay the players. They will be reimbursed later on by the GFA.

Appearance money is from FIFA to players of each participating nation. These funds are supposed to be paid to national associations (in Ghana the GFA), and then paid out to the players. The players should have been paid in Ghana before flying out to Brazil. So first, why were the players not paid in Ghana? Second, why did the money get to the government of Ghana through the Ministry of Sports when in fact it should have gone to the GFA in the first place. Somebody somehow attempted to jettison the funds and the players possibly knew about it. They know that if they don't demand payment in Brazil, it will be difficult for them to get it in Ghana especially if they don't make it to the next stage. This is not about nationalism. The players from all nations in the competition who make several millions more than most of our players received their appearance monies long before they landed in Brazil. The government of Ghana has no business in keeping the funds until now. We now see the folly in chattering a whole private plane to send $3 million to players in far away Brazil. The government of Ghana is lucky that the Brazilian government will even permit them to bring in physical cash of $3 million into their country. Some other developed nations would have ceased the funds at the point of entry because the funds didn't go through proper channels. This cries foul and should be thoroughly investigated by FIFA.
