  I thought MP's were elected to go and serve their constituents not to go and enjoy state largesse. They must be very angry and quit their jobs, this time no $3m as in Black Stars case.

  Are MPs better than any of us? Why do they want privileges that other Ghanaians do not enjoy? Are these stupid MPs a special breed of Ghanaians? Nonsense! After all, did anyone beg them to become MPs?

  Here we go again. Once, this affects their personal comfort they agree to pick on the executive. When it is an issue boadering on National interest one supports and the other kicks against it. They forget it is the Parliamemnt of Ghana and not NDC/NPP. H-A-P-P-Y ... SHAME!

  In the UK and other European capitals Embassies pay for the use of VIP Lounges each time they receive officials visiting or transiting their countries of accreditation. The numerous officials who pass through are also transported at the expense of the Embassies. At a time when Embassies are resourced on ad hoc and irregular basis it stands to reason that the expenditures of the Embassies are cut down for the avoidance of embarrassments. What the Honourable Members of a Parliament do not appear to know is that in most of our Embassies, staff salaries are paid in trickles and delays often span over several months. The fact that their complaints are not made in public does not mean all is well with the Embassies. Our MPs must understand this cost cutting measure. In any case, it should be of interest to know that their European counterparts hardly use VIP Lounges and official transport when they travel. African "big men" like too much protocol........even including the "tree under school" MPs.

There is a military attache and a deputy military attache at Ghana's mission at the UN. I dont know what they do. I am yet to know the job description of Ghana's ambassador to the Vatican.

  This business of flexing of muscles -very irksome; and the cheeck of it-; please Mahama unless you are going to ignore who likes you or not you would n't stand a chance in serving the nation. JJ rawlings is never liked by the lot but wil win votes every day. Those who actually vote do not lkook for favours. They just look out for leadership. So, ignore these threats and move ahead with what works. I for one do not think you are efficient mainly because you earnestly; and for that matter contantly appesr scared to make or avoid making those difficult but productive decisions. You want to strip thses guys of the named previleges, go ahead and do so quick. That is a good decision. Stop making announcements and strip these fucking bastards of the previleges and more.
  
  Actually, lock them in some hot room for days on end so they can think about how corruption can be ended.
  
  At the moment, nobody is thinking. If they can't work, let them fucking 'bagger' off.

  130 MPs too much! We should cut down on number of ministries and ministers. No more deputy ministers. The chief directors can deputize for the ministers when necessary.

  those so called mps in ghana parliament are useless idiots. it's a waste of tax payers money to have all those fools without brains called mps. some of them find it difficult to even speak in the useless parliament!!
