  There are some specific fields that we lack the needed expertise. To solve this problem the government of Ghana has over the decades made scholarships available for Ghanaians to study abroad in these fields. In some instances several people have been sent and not even one of them has returned. If you know very well that you are not prepared to live and work in this country and would therefore not return do not take these scholarships.
  
  The Takoradi Poly Students who were sacked for applying with fake certificates must be prosecuted in a court of competent jurisdiction. Just sacking them is not enough.
  
  Nowadays businesses and government organisations have stopped demanding Secondary School Certificate or Basic Education Certificate.
  
  Each of these certificates are important. For example for many tertiary graduates the only certificate that can tell whether one can speak good English or whether one has adequate knowledge of Mathematics is the Secondary School Certificate.
  
  Similarly the only certificate that can tell whether a tertiary graduate has basic knowledge of Ghanaian history, culture, agriculture and the basic geography of West Africa is the Basic Education Certificate.

The absence of real leadership in the country is the cause and a problem. The chieftancy, religious institutions, political elite/class and judiciary have all failed to provide the kind of leadership that offers good examples discipline, selflessness, patriotism.

If you have ministers and leaders whose only interest is how to become rich for people to bow to them, what do you expect. When you have leaders who don't give a hoot about the nations health system because they can always afford to fly outside the coast of Ghana for western medical care for themselves and their fanilies, What do you expect?
  When you have leaders who don't care about creating opportunities for the less fortunate in our society to uplift themselves for the benefit of thier poor families but this same leaders are able to push their own family members through because they are highly connected what do you expect?

We see the kind of lifestyle that public officials live in this country. They must walk the talk. They should go learn from Rwanda what has made that country to be soaring to higher heights.   Take the case of SADA, a good initiative and yet the managers became millionaires over night. They are walking free in Accra and Tamale. They shared the tractors bought for farmers, no action taken against the looters, what do you expect the rest of society to do?

Mahama learnt from his master, J J Rawlings and so far as they "create, loot and share" for the NDc it is ok with Rawlings.See how heberated Mills every day, because Mills will not do his dirty work. So Rawlings who voilently took overshould have instilled patriotism into his party and the masses. He was too busy murdering people he perceived as "enemies" and did not sow the seed of patriotsim. You ask yourself, the NPP left the country in afine economic position, how did it collapse so fast in a short few years under NDC. The country has been hijacked by NDc bandits, period.
