3. Manage state and personal resources efficiently.
4. Perform official duties without seeking bribes or deliberately sabotaging procedures to undermine the other.
5. Employ and promote on merit if you want to achieve the best results.
6. You will earn more respect if you are honest with people and are open about naming and shaming wrong-doers.
7. Do not do what you find disgusting and shameful or what you will not want your children to emulate.

And sincerely by the way, are there any competent people within the NDC to do better than those already appointed? This is the best you have; or are there any team better anywhere to deliver the "so-called" "Better Ghana Agenda"? I thought every rational CEO who is serious to succeed will appoint the best team; so if you are crying foul about Mahama's appointees failing him, then he must bear the flakes! Am sorry, but this is the way it is!

When you guys lied to Ghanaians and stole the elections you though you were going to have things easy! Things have fallen apart, you must fix them! And if you feel the kitchen is too hot, just get out and give way to competent people to come and manage the affairs of the country and stop stealing and lies.

One of the mark of a good leader is his ability to select the right people to man strategic positions for him. Every leader that has excelled in annals of world history did so on the wings of his able,diligent and selfless lieutenants. In the corporate world it is not different. That is the main reason why a leader is always given the mandate to appoint his own trusted people to man positions of importance for him. So now do you see the reality.There is no bad army. There is always a bad general.So don't blame the ministers or appointees. Blame the one who appointed them. The buck stops at the door of the one who appointed them.Enjoy the mess.

The President must not appease people who helped him to office when it comes to political appointments, but must seek the wise counseling of the "wisdom prodigy" Mr. General Mosquito Aseidu Nketia's approval- he has the gut to show the president if his appointees will deliver or not in their various designations as leaders. Or is it the case as the President says that it is time for the north to show the nation how best they can rule-hence his stupid and adamant atitude of "y3n tie obiaa" slogan not even his own party faithfuls like the honorable General Mosquito, "anoo yaa hene in chief". NDCfoo you have not seen anything yet, the worse days are yet to come! Can you say what quality has a person like Dr Apaak got to offer the President in any capacity? Absolutely NONE. Thid is so because Dr Apaak who is an Achaeologist does NOT have any requesit Management, Administrative, Economic or Financial knowledge whatsoever.

Surprisingly, this nonetity call Dr Apaak is at the seat of Ghana Government. The reality is such a person will never ever be at such a place in a Developed Country. How do you then not query the President himself about such awful appointments has being making since he became President.

Ghana, like other African countries have a huge developmental problem due to the fact their Presidents/Heads do not appoint the right and qualified people to positions of authority. Yes, these appointees hold qualifications from various universities but, mostly in theory. However, when it comes to practical application of their acquired educational knoweldge nothing forth coming. In order words, I am saying these people have nothing practical to offer their beloved countries.

In Ghana, the avowed government institutions that has destroyed the country are Bank of Ghana, the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, the Attorney Generals Department, the Accountant General Department, Audit General Department and critically the Judiciary.

The above mentioned institutions are filled by goevrnment appointees. Mostly, Political for favourites. One may ask, are these people qualified enough and are they resistant to bribe taking? No. This is due to partisan politics unlike the Developed World. Any objective and informed mind can deduce how the above mentioned institutions are always in the news about one scandal of corruption or another. These very institutions which are the most important organs of good gvernance have participated by joining hands to completely rob the country of all the megre resources available.

Every scandal happening is involved by Attorney Generals Office, Accountant Generals Department and Bank of Ghana, why? oh why one may ask. A sane Ghanaian will ask why did the Attorney General Marieta Oppong defended the payment of 52 million CEDIS to the thief Woyome and what about very and highly corrupt Betty Mould-Idrissi ordered that payment in the first instant? I personally will not mind asking, Northerners in Ghana are so damn and very very corrupt it is not? What is white must be white and be stated so.

To end this awful performance by NDC and President Mahama, I suggest to Mr Samuel George to question his President over his appointees.

If he has not decided to reward every single party faithful with a ministerial appointment and has focused on getting knowledgeable, wise and hardworking Ghanaians to be ministers, he wouldn't face these problems; and Ghanaians would be saved the trouble of getting up everyday wondering when things will get better. You asked, 'are they not experts in their fields'? I believed you are in a better position to know the answer to this particular question you asked. Is Haruna Iddrisu for example, an expert in TRADE AND INDUSTRY? Has Yamin been to any SPORTS COLLEGE? Is the immediate past SPORTS MINISTER not a JOURNALIST? So why do you want to throw dust in the eyes of Ghanaians by asking some of these hypocritical questions? When did any politician pay any attention to experts taking charge of the various ministries? I hope your attempt is not to seek favour from the president, which may result in the addition of one more charlatan minister. You must know that not everyone is qualified to be a MINISTER, no matter how long he has been helping a political party. There are many out there serving as ministers who should be ordinary workers at the ministries.

Sam George is not alone is expressing frustration and disquiet about what is going on. I heard Alhj. Bature saying the same thing on AdomFM`s Dwaso Ns3m early morning programme today. Prez Mahama should take off the the 'kid gloves' he has been wearning all along,and deal decisively with 'friends' and 'enemies' in pretty much the same way to let these detractors, as well as political hangers-on, appreciate the fact that he is in charge, and that the 'political honeymoom' they seem to have taken for granted, is over! He should quit this piecemeal approach to effecting needed changes,by embarking on a major shake-up of his team. The time is right for him to 'lower the boom' on imcompetent and clueless appointees,who have helped him acquire that unflattering nickname "Bosh3ba"! He should know time is not on his side.
