I think the Author of this article is confused. A grace period, in a lay man's language, is a time span within which one usually does not have to pay a loan right away, or a waiting period before payment of a loan begins. However, the Author writes:

"GOG will also have a grace period of 60 months or 5 years within which to settle the loan." This assertion is wrong and deceptive on the part of the Author.

Rather, the loan amortizes over a period of 25 years which is properly stated at the last segment of the article. And by stating that fact, the Author ends up contradicting himself. Attention to details buddy.

What should Ghanaians expect a new community day SHS to look like, what facilities would a new community day SHS have to warrant a cost of $4.3million because we have been in this country where 6 classroom blocks have cost about 3 times more the cost of similar such facilities even with more features, constructed by private corporate bodies, in meeting their corporate social responsibility objectives.
The Ministry of Education should provide Ghanaians with a model to cost it because the Mahama led NDC gov't has lost all credibility amongst Ghanaians and the international community, and it's affecting the fortunes of the country.

Parliament also approved a loan from Cal bank for a certain number of SHS's and a host of other facilities. Ablakwa should furnish Ghanaians with detailed information on these as well. Ghana deserves the best.
