  There are some specific fields that we lack the needed expertise. To solve this problem the government of Ghana has over the decades made scholarships available for Ghanaians to study abroad in these fields. In some instances several people have been sent and not even one of them has returned. If you know very well that you are not prepared to live and work in this country and would therefore not return do not take these scholarships.
  
  The Takoradi Poly Students who were sacked for applying with fake certificates must be prosecuted in a court of competent jurisdiction. Just sacking them is not enough.
  
  Nowadays businesses and government organisations have stopped demanding Secondary School Certificate or Basic Education Certificate.
  
  Each of these certificates are important. For example for many tertiary graduates the only certificate that can tell whether one can speak good English or whether one has adequate knowledge of Mathematics is the Secondary School Certificate.
  
  Similarly the only certificate that can tell whether a tertiary graduate has basic knowledge of Ghanaian history, culture, agriculture and the basic geography of West Africa is the Basic Education Certificate.

  Cudos but talkings policys doesn´t really mean the situation on the ground. I believe an all inclusive (goverment by the people) goverment can resolve and solve the problems we face as a nation. The major problem now is to resolve the issue of electricity, water and food for all, if these basic needs are met I believe Ghana will stand out as a nation , education wouldnt be a problem, security wouldnt be a problem, investments wouldnt be a problem, Politics and politicians would work for the people of ghana. so please lets educate ourselves and make the sacrifice to. Nkrumah new these back then and sacrificed every penny just.

  She is the reason why Mahama and the NDC for that matter change their decision not to attend the 2012 IEA Presidential debate. She in co-operation with Kojo Oppong Nkrumah of Joy TV leaked all the questions to be asked to Mahama for a ministerial appointment in return. Use_less professor.Just watch carefully the ase with which Mahama answered the questions.

  Ignorant professor. This woman has no knowledge about what she is talking about. 30% of our children do not have any opportunity of going to school and she does not even address that. Basic formal education which the government should accord every child as a necessity , is now a money making enterprise in Ghana. Schools do not have bathrooms, chalks, and sufficient chairs, but we spend money on 'ghost' computers, sanitary pads, uniform for "needy" students only known to her and her cronies. She is a disgrace to educationists everywhere.
