Simple, he has the experience and can deliver RESULTS, again, because the most important institution controlling people's livelihood cannot accommodate incompetence. In Ghana, its not about who can deliver but what party you belong to. It will never work until we come to our senses and fix the structural menace. That is why people are dying in hospital, roads are left unfinished and turned into death traps, our educational system is in shambles, yet we can focus all our attention on corrupt practices - GYEDA, $3.5m to Brazil, $140m camouflaged into education (cant wast time for the disgraceful pad thing), SUBA, and of course the one we dont normally talk about "Money for Election". If the governor was a non-partisan result oriented individual, would these happen?????

This case exposes our wonderful judges sitting on the various court benches throughout Ghana. Here is a judge who became an advocate and legal advisor to the plaintiff in a case against the government of Ghana. Since when do courts start to dismiss collaborated testimony because of supposed minutes taken at a meeting? Is meeting minutes certified as arbiter of the gospel truth in Ghana’s courts? Are minutes not taken by humans and do minutes takers capture everything said and or done at a meeting? Yet it is within these very courts in Ghana that saw judges render rulings in favor of plaintiffs even while ignoring processes, practices and or the existence of contract. What then is the legal definition of contracts in Ghana? Do processes used in obtaining or extracting a contract count? We’ve also witnessed, read or heard how the Kufour administration skirted the open bid process in place at the time of the stadia renovation process which brought us the Woyome saga of late. Where do these judges stand and who do they work for to earn their paychecks?
Furthermore, Justice Gyamera seems to hinge his argument on the fact that the meeting in Tripoli took place in November thus it was more likely the plaintiff received notification in 1996. The judge, a typical Ghanaian judge, presupposes that messages could not be relayed either verbally and or unofficially to the plaintiff in November 1995. Did Justice Gyamera investigate to determine who in Tripoli received those shipments since he was more inclined to pin the donkey tail on the government of Ghana.

Did he consider that the plaintiff tried to pull a fast on and got the Libyan authorities to write way after the cessation of the contract to indicate the cessation date. Why was that not included in the minutes?
When Astek was being paid, what did he know he was being paid for and if he received the principal, why will he continue charging interest on it? Is it rather he is claiming interest on the interest? Justice Gyamera and E. Ossei- Kumah, how much did you get?
Has BoG retrieved the money from the Libyans or Ghana is just paying free for juice Libyans enjoyed?
