Mahama you should rethink going for a second term. Seriously, I am a NDC member, and I am not going to support you.

  I bet you read the story, but did you not see the statement that the wildlife officials take money from people and allow them to go mining in the reserve, that is Ghana, head of institutions and caretakers are the worst corrupt officials in Ghana, yet turn around and blame govrnment for everything.

  Manganese (from the Western Region) --- 596,572 mt

  Gold --- $1400 per oz
  Diamond --- from $1500 to $150,000 per carat (Market price)
  Bauxite --- $150 per mt
  Manganese --- $450 per tonne
  
  Akyem districts make up more than half of the population of the Eastern Region.
  
  Even though today diamond production from Akyem has stopped temporarily Akyem districts must be given their fair share of projects. Discrimination against Akyems districts has been going on for at least the last forty years. A visit to the Akyem districts would indicate the poor state of districts: bad roads, poor infrastructure. The state of the districts is not reflective of the revenue they have contributed over the last 100 years.
