Mr. Gilbert Agbenyefia, your article presupposes all other government agencies had the funding and support from the administration at the time but could not live up to expectations because of people at the helm of those other institutions of government.
For starters, is Mr. Addo-Kufour not a relative of the then president J.A. Kufour? Did other institutions of state get equal funding for their respective facilities improvement projects? What you and other simple-minded Ghanaians continue to do is destroying any strand of intellectual honesty and or cultured analysis that is deserved in Ghana. The use of the Ghana armed forces by administrations past and present to abuse a so-called free society and or abuse of the public by members of Ghana's Armed forces is legendary. Kowtowing to the whims of the military by the brother of the president and or using government funds to make his relative Addo-Kufour build up his resume is not a sign of principled people and neither should you salute nepotism, cronyism and subservient attitudes by any Ghanaian especially those who pretend classroom earned doctorate degree in Ghana is what it’s cracked up to be with work product. Feed a monkey on a string well and instruct it to respect the hand that feed it and there will be lifelong loyalty between the monkey and its hander. The Kufour's, J.A. Kufour and Addo-Kufour, have not given Ghana anything that gives rise to meaningful mental exercises worth tooting a horn about. Tell me any revenue generating feature of what you describe as a feat by Addo-Kufour at the department of defense and I will show you how to solve the expenditures in red we carry on our books Mr. Gilbert.

Dr Addo-Kuffour is known in Kumasi. Before he became a Minister he had made a name for himself.He didn't need to steal from the people because he has his own resources. He also has administrative and decision-making skills. If a person of his caliber could only be a Minister his party has depth in terms of leadership. Compare him with the "boy" ministers with little skills. No wonder we arE facing these difficulties.

Waow yes, HON,ADDO KUFFOUR is a gentleman. Though l belong to the other divide of the political platform, but will confirm that Dr ADDO KUFFOUR REALLY SERVED HIS COUNTRY WITH ALL HIS HEART AND MIND. He listens to all without any discrimination. We were on a PARLIAMENTARY TRIP TO THE US and we had a very frank and open chat without any suspicion. He is a frank open person who respected all. Whilst a Defence Minister in the Kuffour Administration, he gave me an invitation to pay him a visit, though I was in opposition then. I quote him .'Oh Kwaku, we are still friends so lets maintain our friendship, please do visit me'unquote This was at a funeral. I really salute this Great Man. I visited him in his office and we had a nice chat, but l was not surprised to see a long queue of visitors, all waiting to get him
