As the days go by more and more people wake up to the reality of the ndc anti Akan hate agenda and their deep rooted corrupt dark souls of evil .This was first initiated by the Ewes and through Mahama and his brothers being championed today by the northerners. We see in Iraq/Syria the announce of the Islamic caliphate state and their map which now includes Ghana and the whole of West Africa .Most people are ignorant of the fact that unlike in Christianity and other religions whereby the leaders or priests are men of peace in Islam their imams or priests advocate for war and destruction of the non believers and when war starts every single one of them assumes the title emir and becomes the captain of a murderous horde as we saw in Libya and with the boko haram. The mosque is not only a place of worship but an army fortress or barracks and that is why they must in the design in every area which is not predominately Muslim its required to have a tall reconnaissance tower. we see in Accra and other places these mosques spring up all over the place at militarily very strategic positions but we are vigilant and when our bloody revolution starts we will raze all these structures to the ground and drive out this menace from our midst . The truth is that, Nana Akufo Addo and his advisers are not thinking right otherwise, he will not be chasing another NPP flagbearership for 2016. Clearly, the facts don't favour him.
In 2008 when Nana first stood on the ticket of the NPP, he clearly led the first round election by getting as much as 49.3% of the valid votes. He needed just 73,479 more votes to cross the winning point of 50% plus one. In contrast, the runner-up in the first round, candidate Mills, obtained 47.92% of the valid votes. He required 176,284 more valid votes to cross the winning point. The total number of valid votes available was 8.465,834.
In the 2nd round, voter turn-out increased by 535,644. If you add this to the number of voters who did not vote for either Mills or Nana in the first round (ie 249,761), we had 785,405 voters who both candidates fought for in round 2; (let's assume that the voters who voted in round 1 for either Mills or Nana repeated their voting pattern in round 2). Out of these, Mills managed to add 464,398 more votes to his tally while Nana only managed 321,007 more votes. As a result, Mills overtook Nana by 40,586 votes to win the presidential election. This meant that, both floating voters and some NPP members rejected Nana. If this conclusion was not clear, the 2012 election even made it clearer.
From a closely contested election in 2008, the 2012 election was not so close. President Mahama did not have to worry himself with a 2nd round. Mahama won 50.70% and Nana 47.74% of the valid votes – the gap between them was as much as 325,863 votes. Should Nana go for another election in 2016, the gap between Mahama and him will even be wider.
Nana perhaps is hoping in the current ongoing propaganda that Ghana has stagnated or even collapsed under President Mahama. It was the same situation of NPP propaganda prior to the 2012 election but it yielded nothing for Nana. Not even a wild attempt to use the courts to get the nod succeeded because clearly he lost the election and he will lose again if he tries.

What justification does Nana Addo have to look for a third time bid when he blamed Kuffour for not winning the 1996 elections? He should simply understand and give way to Alan. Alan was able to press upon Dr. Richard Anane, his supporter not to contest, but Nana could not do same with Joe Ghartey. What implosion is the Herald talking about? All the Political Parties in Ghana have internal conflicts. Yet, they all manage to move on. No one should expect the NPP to crumble under the current internal crisis. The crisis is not insurmountable. In fact, the Party could emerge much stronger before the General Elections.

Therefore, the Herald must save its energies for dancing to any funeral dirges on NPP's grave--be it Agbaja or Adowa, or Boboobo. The NPP is no where near the deathbed, let alone the grave. If anybody has taken the Herald's money that he or she would go show the Paper NPP's grave for such a dance, the Paper better run to chase after that person to retrieve the money. Or, it would have been deeply conned.

I have heard many people suggest that if Nana Akufo-Addo fails to win the Flagbearership the NPP would die off. That is far-fetched. The Party would survive. After all, the NDC did not die when its founder, J. J., was snobbed, sidelined and ignored well over a year. J. J. still has a massive following in that Party, even after his wife, took a chunk of it away with her to form her new, but sleepy Party.

The CPP also suffered a heartache from Nduom's breakaway. Yet, it managed to survive. It may have become a little weaker than it was with Nduom, but the CPP still lives, and it has its own continuing internal squabbles to blame for failing to advance further.

The NPP is more resilient than the CPP or the NDC, and can absorb the current shock. In fact, it is the NDC that may more quickly phase out of existence, if defeated in the next General Election, and the Herald, probably, should redirect its attention to that Party to which it is so much akin.
