for Mr. Nyantekyi's failure to provide a coach who can manage affairs on and off the field with enough gravitas to hold these pampered Gh. international players in a patriotic mindset.
If the central role of the GFA is to run the local league and manage the national team, then why are we dealing with uncommitted players and an entire president coming out to give assurances to players before a game at the World Cup.
Did Rawlings, Kuffour or Mills(RIP) deal with any such "crap" during their tenures.
Who the hell are we kidding?
If Mr. Nyantekyi has any brains left, he would do everything in his power to bring Mr. Milovan Rajevac back to the national team as Coach.
Kwesi Appiah is a good coach but he is inconsistent and lacks fore-sight. His record with the Black Stars prove it. If you do not think so, then explain to yourself why he had to bring in Jordan Ayew and take-out KPB because the Germans took-out Jerome. Also, when we were ahead by two goals to one, the Germans brought-in Schweingsteiger and Klose to help them score. But, Appiah brought-in Agyeman-Badu and Wakaso, which showed that he was unwilling to protect our lead by bring on two additional defenders to shift our posture to a 2-4-4 formation with two additional defenders in the midst to protect our lead. Instead he was planning to beat the Germans by more goals and the changes he made proves his mind set. So, we were lucky to get the 2-2 draw in that game because the German forwards got stronger towards the end and got their equalizer.
Again, when we played the USA, Coach Appiah did not have a plan to salvage a draw game when the score was tied at 1-1 in the 83rd minute, instead the players were still trying to win it and any fool could see that luck was not on our side if it had taken us more than 80 minutes to find an equalizer.
So he should be kept as an assistant to Milovan Rajevac. Keep all the players if you want, they will not be revolting under him and Muntari can suck his thumb and shut-up. Rajevac can keep them in check.
Ghana needs a coach who is grounded enough to perceive our areas of weakness and protect us but also strong enough to capitalize on our obvious potential for greatness.
So, Mr. Nyantekyi, I do not know how long the president is willing to let you keep hurting the nation with your cheap solutions.

The lesson hear for Mr. GFA is that we went to Fifa World-Cup 2006, lost to Brazil in the round of 16. Coach Ratomir Djukovic Salary $45000.00 Per. Month.
Then, we went to Fifa World-Cup 2010, lost to Uruguay in the quarter-finals. Coach Milovan Rajevac Salary $60,000.00 Per. Month.
Then, we went to Fifa World-Cup 2014, Did not get out of the group stage. Coach Kwesi Appiah Salary $20,000.00 Per. Month.
Lesson: You cannot climb a mountain with cheap equipment.

It was “try and error” experimental specialist coach who put square pegs in round holes to create this mess. Harry don’t move against the wind you will fight a loosing battle but discover the direction of the wind and flow in it….Fans will support you 100 o/o if only you will campaign to remove the incompetent coach Appiah [the silent killer[.

When the pressure was piled on the Ghana team by the Zambians and Zambians took control of the midfield and on the verge of scoring, was it not Essien who came in to stabilse the midfield and took control of the game? Was it not Essien and Muntari who bossed the midfield against the Eqyptians in Kumasi? What did AA learnt from this? Nothing!!! and you called yourself a coach?Instead of putting your faith in these players to do the job for you, he ignored them and he expect them to respect you?

2. A local coach lacks management skills to handle the BSs.
3. Local coaches are not updated, they do not know anything about modern soccer.
4. They cannot reach games under pressure to make changes.
5. Foreign coaches command respect from players because they know their stuff.
All the troubles that happened in camp in Brazil could not have happened under the eyes of a foreign coach.

Instead GFA management and the minister of sports tool inspection trips to line their pockets with per diem and slept in the best hotels while flying in business class.
When time came for players to travel to the WC GFA prez, his wife and kid sit in the front and players are cramped in the back of the plane.
I would be fuming if it were me.

We are back from the world cup. It is interesting to read how Nyantakyi, Afriye Ankrah and all the big men blame the boys for indiscipline. Even Harry Zakour has added his voice. What did the boys do. Muntari slapped Moses Armah and KPB insulted the coach.
I am not surprised these so called big men cannot criticize themselves to see their short comings because their behaviour is typically Ghanaian. Elders do no wrong. In any case what business had 52 officials in Brazil. 23 players having a meeting with 52 officials. Was this not intimidating enough.

And with the South African experience fresh in our minds what prevented the GFA from paying the 23 players before they embarked on the trip. Well perhaps someone wanted to short change somebody. And the supporters. Only NDC supporters were sent. Maybe they are the true Ghanaians. These and many more are the issues the GFA must tackle.If Muntari hadn't given that free slap all these would not have come to light. How I wish he had "teared more slaps".

For our deep rooted love for soccer, Ghanaians have suddenly forgotten our divisions and ethnocentrism. Soccer has suddenly opened our eyes; we all now see an obvious problem that has for decades bedeviled us the same way. Now it is not about Ashantis, voltas, northners, nor the Gas; but the Ghana Football Association (GFA). If our rulers can rid their biases, rid off their corruption, and be candid as the consensus have been, Ghana will quickly erupt to fruity to our betterment. Our hearts are broken from this world cup not for what the players did but for the selfishness of a few individuals. Before anybody, including those with authority, speak against any of our three big heroes he/she should ask who is to blame: the cause or the effect. Essien and Kevin may be retired for other reasons, but Sulley will return as a hero and be cheered for heroics.
