He/she is not qualified for the job. all what was said about the grant is very true it started since 2006 before I left the country. In North Tornu some schools levied children for accommodation. recently when I visited my observation proved most teachers go to school twice a week for the reason of not being paid their salaries for over two years +. How long does it take the minister to receive her salary? Shame unto the leaders of Ghana.

Ghana is now a failed state, when government is put in the hands of children. We cant afford common chalk how can they give free education shame NDC.

Do not bring "politric" polities into this serious matter, the fallen standard is there since long what had my party and your party did about it. Let's blame everything on the minister. How can a hungry man deliver to help.

I still have a copy of my quarterly report for 2009 when I was the science &Env.Cordinator for GES Ejisu municipal.I listed the late payment of the capitation and the fact that teachers were borrowing or using their money to buy chalk and cardboard whiles some just let the pupils play.The sad observation I made was that some head teachers took advantage of that to inflate the actual expenses on running the schools so when the capitation is paid in bulk, their teachers have no say , no accountability.Serious teachers become lazy and tired of teahing without TLMs in fact no practical lessons.For the school inspectors,no one should blame them,look I left Ghana whiles our T&T was not paid for 6 months.I was visiting schools when I had some money on me and I had to supervise practical science lessons in 300 schools.I loved the job but the system did not allow me to do it.The sad thing is that the same challenge has been there since 2008 so now is a problem,ARE WE SERIOUS?

ANOTHER WAY COULD HAVE BEEN USING THE VACATION CLASSES TO PREPARE THEM TO WRITE A QUALIFYING EXAMINATION TO ENTER THE PROPERLY SET UP TEACHER TRAINING COLLEGES, NOW CALLED COLLEGES OF EDUCATION(WHAT IS IN A CHANGE OF NAME ANYWAY?).
IN THE OLDEN DAYS, WE WERE TAUGHT BY PUPIL TEACHERS, BUT I BET YOU, MORE THAN 75% OF THE PUPIL TEACHERS WHO HAVE BEEN AWARDED DIPLOMA IN EDUCATION AND ARE NOW POISONIG OUR CHILDREN AND WARDS WILL NOT COME ANYWHERE NEAR THOSE PUPIL TEACHERS.
LET US BE SERIOUS ABOUT WHAT WE ARE DOING TO THIS NATION IN THE NAME OF MODERNITY AND TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT.
