  The Bank of Ghana (BOG) has no Eastern Regional headoffice. The BOG must ask for land from the King of Akyem (Okyehene) to construct this building. I don´t believe that the BOG has accurate data of the economic activity in the at least 12 Akyem districts which make up more than half the population on the region. The GDP and GNI of these Akyem districts are very high. They stem from:
  
  Gold mining
  Diamond mining
  Cocoa
  Oil Palm (the largest in West Africa)
  Timber
  Software development
  etc
  
  The money supply and capital in the at least 12 Akyem districts are wholly inadequate. BOG must remove impediments to the setting up of rural banks in these districts and encourage ADB and GCB to open branches in these districts.
  
  The government must further ensure that wholly owned Ghanaian banks, including rural banks, get at least 80% of the banking revenue.

  Do they give low interest loans to citizens or business??? How many FEDERAL RESERVE Banks do you think they are in America? Any credit union(non-profit) or commercial bank, including Ghana Commercial Bank can do what you ask ...

Any credit union(non-profit) or commercial bank, including Ghana Commercial Bank can do what you ask BOG to do..There is no such thing in America..The Federal Reserve Bank;s job is to loan money to other banks! Its commercial banks and credit unions job to provide contact to citizens and banks! Rural bank are already reported to make 200% profit,,Only oil companies make that in USA, thats insane and should be illegal..Thats why you use a non-profit credit union...

  BOG paa, the court says you must pay $1m in Cedis and you pay $3m in dollars. Dr. Owusu must have used his wife, Theresa, then deputy Governor to dupe the State. This matter must be investigate.
