If the foreign reserve has dropped from $5.83 billion to $596million, it means almost $5.2BILLION with a "B", is missing....which is certainly not the case...

Hence, $5.83 billion minus $600million is equal to $5.23billion...NOT $596 MILLION

They knew where to go with least detection. Why do you guys think so many new fifty cedis bills were introduced after things went wrong with depletion of foreign currencies in the vaults ? The Banks at a stage refused to offer Dollars to customers because there were none.

If the docket is sent to the Attorney-General's department and there is a prima facie case established,they can go ahead to prosecute the accused persons, regardless of who is the President of the Republic of Ghana. Note,in criminal cases it is the State v the accused or defendant, and the President or by whatever title the Head of State is known v the accused or defendant. There is no contradiction in what AFAG is demanding. Period.

And to add that a drop from $5.83 billion to $596.8 million means $600 million was stolen is pure vodoo mathematics because the figures don't add up. What any logically sensible group ought to do is to acknowledge that it is regular for the Bank to do so and to ask for vouchers and receipt to put your fears to rest.
