Those player were the best so far but they did not qualify because at that time, there was a huge division in the team and most of the problems rest on the shoulders of Abedi Pele. He thought that without him, the then Black Stars team was nothing.

When the Black Stars qualify for the 2006 World Cup for the first time, I remember him saying that he should be allowed to play for some couple of minutes and imagine what followed.

Abedi was the captain of the team and the position was being seriously contested and felt you must do everything to sabotage him. the same thing your sick people are doing to Mahama right now becos of his northern origins. one thing you seem to forget is that northerners are warriors and the epitome of courage and no matter what your agenda maybe it will never succeed. Leave Abedi alone and those honest people who had eyes to see saw what Abedi did for Ghana football. he always played his heart out.

How many time do we hear Ashantis, Ewes, Northerner etc duking it out at one another despite the fact that we are all of the same skin but tongue difference? It is more painful for your fellow black man to demean you than a pink skin man. That is an undeniable fact.

Us Germans love Anthony Yeboah. Not only a top footballer, but also a very kind gentleman.

I once had a document video that chronicled all the sixty goals or so Tony commandeered during his playing days as a professional in my video library titled "Shoot To Kill"

Unfortunately, an unidentified friend had borrowed it but never returned that piece to this day. I'd lost a treasure.

I'll be glad if 'Tony-Tony' as I affectionately used to call him could throw a light on this particular edition captured on VHS so I can replace it.

On the other hand, I would appreciate it the more if somebody in the house
could avail himself to me in this connection. Thanx.
