So, you have some crazy women bleaching babies so they match the mother's complexion. It is all just crazy

This article is about skin bleaching. My response is simply to say that bleaching is a method used to treat those with vitiligo. And he did have it, it is not just according to me. Now, if this article was regarding reconstructive surgeries, then we can address those issues. But, this article is not on that subject matter and just assumed that those who bleached only did it to lighten their skin as a dislike of the natural skin. Michael's skin was "naturally bleaching" itself. His bleaching treatments only expedited the process to that he would not have the patches that is common. Sounds like you have other bones to pick with him and I'm sure you can address them on other forums. I'm sure you can speak on your hair treatments, clothing selections, and other activity that might identify you as trying to be like others...but I'm sure you're not judging folks.

If Michael was proud of his "naturally bleaching" dark skin he could have chosen methods to re-darken his skin. He chose to whiten.
He chose to have white children
He chose the shape to have a white man nose etc etc etc.

I agree with part of this article that some women bleach their skin for the wrong reasons, but it simply fails to provide concrete proof to back its vague warnings about the adverse effect of skin bleaching.
It seems the writer just like me believes only "some bleaching products are harmful." That means there are safer means to achieve a beautiful and even tone skin. It would have been helpful to provide links in the article to help people make better decisions about keeping their skin healthy rather than demonize skin bleaching just because we feel it's wrong. The truth is people bleach their skin for different reasons from what was provided in the article.
What is wrong with someone wanting to get rid of acne scars or melasma or even age spots? The writer presumes to know the reason those celebrities mentioned have resorted to bleaching if they are doing it at all and that is wrong.
