  Please do not take this as an insult. For me, I would hate to have every Kofi, Amma and Kwame insult and ridicule everything I tried to do as President of this country. Can any President of this our dear country have the peace of mind to rule?
  
  I would not want to see Nana Akufo-Ado come to face the same harassment from everybody. Let us all try to give our Presidents time and room to do their work. In my humble opinion, anybody who wants to be President cares deeply about this country. No one can convince me that he cares more about this nation than President Mahama does. Give our Presidents some peace.
  
  Even to this day, almost six years after President Kufuor left office, some people still insult him and I don't like it one bit. My fear is that too much insult may drive some good people from coming forward to help this nation and help, we need very badly.

  Ken, I agree with you in totality. Too often, people point incredulous fingures at our leaders unnecessarily. And insults of our leaders is the order of the day. People - some of whom cannot even differentiate betweem "A" and "B" - seem to pride themselves in that.
  We seem not to help our leaders to build up and deliver instead, we try to pull them down, tear them apart and and treat them as if they are rugs. We wait and "pray" for them (our leaders) to make a mistake so that we jump at them. This is not part of patriotism. In any case,Rockson, it does not mean anyone who talks "loundly" without listening to himself, like some of your favourites you mentioned, talks sensibly.

  For how long can we continue to feed on promises when those making the promises have told us before they got elected that they have the magic wand to turn everything around?
  Is that not a breach of contract under which circumstances the electorate have the right to shake such persons from their slumber?
  For the fact that Ghanaians say they have had enough of military take-overs does not permit our leaders to sleep over their election promises in the believe that they can get away with it within the 4 year election cycle.
  The Police are advised however to be professional and not political in their attempt to thwart the expression of the pent-up feelings of the mass of the people; for, people can turn nasty when they are pushed to the wall and feel they are suffocating irrespective of whatever force that comes up against them.
  Lessons about this abound the whole wide world.

  Listen, whoever you are. Ghanaians are some of the most patient and forgiving people in the world but those good character traits are often misconstrued and abused.
  Ghanaians were not impressed with the performance of the NPP during their 8 year rule and replaced them with the NDC, mostly because of the several promises made . Our situation has gotten from bad to worse so should we not complain? Just tell me one campaign promise this NDC party has fulfilled since. None, as I can recall.
  Corruption is at an all time high. Should we just look helplessly on? There are too many issues that need to be corrected but who's looking after the collective interests of ghanaians? Oh, give us a break. Who ever speaks for the suffering people ? Certainly not someone like you. We must hold politicians feet to the fire because we deserve much more than what they are giving or not giving us.
  How much pay raise did you get when Mahama and company gave themselfs about 60per cent increase? They should have raised income levels appreciably for all ghanaians before thinking of increasing their own salaries. How much more tolerance do we need after the mumerous scandals involving top NDC Leaders.Please, come again.

  Chairman Wontumi is right Ibrahim Mahama made Merchant Bank insolvent and asked his brother to sell it. He bought a private plane for himself. The money he borrowed collapsed the Bank.

  Now about liberating Ghanaians: when the maate-meho , the offshoot of which is the NPP, took out Nkrumah with the excuse that they are liberating Ghanaians, were we liberated? And have we been liberated? And here you come again; because your party is not in power we must be liberated? Fools. You come, we are waiting for you. Are you people not the cause of all these problems we are having? For eight solid years that the NPP was in power what did you do? About from selling Airways and ships and stealing lands. Didn't you loot the treasury by pretending to strengthen our currency? How much did it cost to print all these useless notes? Sometimes when I hear the NPP talking about corruption I feel speechless: who do you think you are deceiving?
  By the way you people should get one thing clear, PEACE is a commodity which seems so valueless until you lose it. Just look at Libya, Egypt, Syria, Tunisia and Somalia: they all took peace for granted and now getting their back to it is an awesome task. If we had patience for Rawlings for 18 years, and tolerated Kuffour for 8 years, despite his deception and corruption and we didn't die off the land of Ghana, why can't we have patience for Mahama?
  Is the land of Ghana going to disappear from the face of the earth tomorrow?
