Unless and until the government can produce a document submitted by Woyome to the so-called court of competent jurisdiction that has been ruled to be fraudulently obtained and or as unauthorized duplication and reproduced, the attorney for the state cannot make such inflammatory and unsubstantiated claim. Woyome followed all the practices of state to win the initial open bid contract award and with state blessing and a letter of introduction went for funding through financial institutions outside Ghana.
His work product up to that point adhered to practices and procedures of our Ghana government. It was ex-President Kufour and his henchmen who with malice and ignorance used their knowledge of prices proposed in the bid package by participants to obtain price quotation that undermined the bid process. Woyome not only deserves what he got but should have sued Kufour administration for breaching government practices and procedures for personal gain, political and financial,

Staff at the Ghana AG offices should lament a system that allows people in authority to skirt standing principles and values of government without incurring the wrath of laws in Ghana instead of going blindly and without principles after people because of politics and tribal preferences. How is it fair that Kufour and people of the office of the presidency get to see price quotation of participating bids and for Kufour to use those as basis to extract favorable pricing from a Chinese company and government? People in civilized developed nations know that it is the adherence to laws of nation by all that keeps law and order and bribery to a minimum yet in Ghana we allow people at the top of society including our president to do otherwise and expect respect for law and enforcement agencies. What a nation of mediocre minds and ideals.

However, Bank of Austria has firmly denied that, and provided evidence to the court. Based on this fact alone - and there are others - Woyome is guilty of misrepresentation.
