I read with sadness the death of Ivy. It is indeed a very heart wrenching one if her reasons for the suicide was really the inability to get her fees paid. At times, the real reason for the death of persons are not truthfully told, as I am suspecting in the instant case. Indeed how many persons have been having difficulties in paying their fees and how many of them are taking their lives? Is it the first time that someone has had this difficulty in paying his or her fees. Please Daily Guide, spare us this shit(excuse my french. And come to talk about self-immolation of one man in Tunisia which triggered a nationwide demand for change in the status quo. Is it a case of change of government which is being sought!. I laugh at it. That will be good news to the fool and the gullible. It can never be said that Ivy committed suicide at a time when the crisis in the country has reached a crescendo. please spare Ghanaians this crap.

Police taking bribes, Procurement officers taking 10%, Judges taking gifts, etc. Almost everybody finds perfect means to dupe mother Ghana. Nowadays the least thing govt, why? This little girl did something that needed to be looked at more critically beyond the lens of politrics. Look, my brother the mother of the girl promised her the money when she returns from the town or market. A good thing this girl could have done was to follow the mother to the market to help her in the trade to make some money,. Yet she stayed at home waiting for her mother to count the money into her hands before she gets to the school.
Gone are the days when schools kids assist their parents to make some money to cater for the house. Now it is child labour. Some kids even do vacation jobs to support themselves when schools reopen. These days what happens?
This govt everything will not help anybody. We lump all the problems on govt as if the govt is a magic wand that cures all mother Ghana's troubles. When even govt changes today the situation will be the same.
