Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. This man said nothing which is strange to some of us. It took me only one day to find out about the revenue collecting racket which became part of the Cash and Carry system in the 1980s. It starts from the counter clerks up to the top! I don't fully recollect how it was being done, as it was explained to me by an insider who happened to be a former girl friend but the fact remains that they were pocketing a lot of the money themselves. The racketeering started way back in the 1980s!

And from a staff at the Korle Bu GCB, we also learned about the incompetence of the Korle Bu Administration. Money started rolling in and soon they had a huge sum of money in the account but there were shortages just as before, no street lights just as before (no replacement for burnt out fluorescent tubes), etc., etc. Both of us our spouses were then nurses at Korle Bu so we had lively exchanges, and the joke was on the doctor administrators. They had shown themselves as good for nothing as hospital administrators. Hospital admin. is a course on itself and I had the chance to take that option myself but didn't go for it.

This man has been the Chairman of the Board since NDC came to power and if after nearly six years, he is telling the President about the existence of a mafia making money bloc, only after he resigns, then he is a complete failure. It is even sad that he is asking the president to solve the problem. Was that not one of the reasons why he was appointed as Board Chairman? The president cannot be everywhere and that is why he appoints ministers and Boards to assist him govern the country.

Was this man not the one who contested the NDC flagbearship with the late President Mills? If he could not even manage K'Bu, how could he have managed corporate Ghana if he secured the NDC Flagbearship and ultimately won the presidency in 2008 (as Mills did)?

Unfortunately, I agree with Wofa Kwame that Mr Annan was part of the money making bloc. He tried to resist the dismissal of the corrupt Chief Executive and even managed to get him reinstated by the new Health Minister. Unfortunately, his luck run out when the president intervened and sacked his surrogate. That is why he has resigned.

However, one day when he is to deliver a large sum of money, he never shows up with it. The mobsters track him down, but don't find the money on him. As none of them are able to use sign language, they bring in an interpreter.

Mobster: "Where'd you hide the money?" (Interpreter signs the question.)

The bag man signs his reply. The interpreter says, "He says he had to ditch it in the river because the cops were onto him."

Mobster: "I'm not fooling around! You better tell me where that money is!" (Interpreter again signs.)

Mr Eddie thank you for pointing out this ill-fated issues at the Hospital of which you play part for that ling time. As former flag-bearer aspirant dont you think you have failed to manage just a health facility with only 2000 bed capacity. Imagine if you were given the whole nation. I hope you would have resined same before telling us what is happening in the country. Thank you all the same for pointing out.

His information is not factual. It's based on hear say but in a country where people live , survive and thrive on institutional corruption there must be some amount of truth, no matter how small, in Eddie's claims. There is the llikelihood of the existence of a mafia but the President will have to get that info verified and authenticated for the necessary action to be instituted against the offenders.
