You depend on whiteman's education, medicine, clothing, loan, international laws, transport, communication, social life, technology, God, language, more, more, more etc, etc, etc. where even your standard of living is measured by some white people. Tell me what has Ghana actually preserved that benefits the people? Everything about you today is 'white identified and defined isn't it? Tell me where lies your independence if you even live on 'Ghana-land' as labourer farming to fix food on a distant white man's table elsewhere whilst you go hungry begging for food aid? Do you think if you really benefit from what you think you have as natural resources you would be this poor?

I do not want to go into any in-depth analysis here at all, but with this common sense reasoning above, just rethink your understanding of independence and don't let someone else tells you what an INDEPENDENCE is. Seek for real independence because you are still a 'distant slave'.

At least that would have saved him from the trauma of being chased on an airport tarmac or runway. Can you imagine how many flights could have been delayed while this drama was going on? That would piss off the Italian authorities even more.
There are a lot of economic refugees in Europe and North America. US is dealing with a lot of them right now from South America.

Political refugees are more recognized than the economical refugees but I think if you can actually prove your case that that economy in one's home country is just unbearable, you just might get a chance. If not, then better luck next time.

There are drug dealers in every country . No doubt that some percentage of Ghanaians do drugs but Ghanaians in natured meek and submissive . They are really scared to do drugs . Most of these Ghanaians who started the drugs were trained by Nigerians . It will interest you to know that 170% of Nigerians I have met in all these countries are drug dealers .Nigerians believe in making quick money therefore they don't have time to waste on $10 per hour job . They rather prefer to do drugs or do online banking fraud . I was detained at the Zimbawean immigration in 2012 because they said most Nigerians were impersonating Ghanaians by using Ghanaian passports to do shoddy deals in the southern Africa ,especially South Africa and Zimbabwe . Therefore they were trying to wipe out the culprits . The Ghanaian Embassy in Zimbabwe had to verify that I am a true Ghanaian before I was granted entry . I saw one Nigerian idiot at the detained room who was claiming to be a Ghanaian and carrying Ghanaian passport . When the officials came from the Ghanaian Embassy , we were interrogated in the 4 typical local languages in Ghana ie Ewe ,twi ,Ga and Hausa . The Citizens of both South Africa and Zimbabwe can't distinguish between Ghanaians and Nigerians when we speak just because they believe we are all from West Africa. Our accents are totally different . The first strategy the officials from the Ghana Embassy in Zimbabwe used was the detection of the accent as we spoke before proceeding to interrogate us in the four local languages to be sure that we are true Ghanaians . The officials left no stone unturned towards a successful interrogation so we were thoroughly scrutinized . The idiot was busted after the interrogation and he had to confess that someone helped him to secure the passport in Ghana in 2006 . Can you imagine ? I thank God that Ghanaians started using the Biometric passport in 2010 which will somehow make it very difficult for these bastards to acquire one .

My father used a Nigerian passport to travel from Nigerian to usa during the 80s when ghana was bad and god forbid the way ghana is going hope it wount be like before.

I have never had any bad experience with them and even if I do , i cannot generalise that they are bastards as I don't know all of them. And as for calling them bastards , I think bastards are much more common in ghana than anywhere else as you know everyone has a step brother or sisters. I can't understand why so called innocent Ghanaians keep bashing Nigerians all the time. Go to Pratunam in Bangkok and you will see a lot of people from Ghana selling drugs and doing 419. Shame on you all.
