  Go-way-you. You want to control rents to prevent property owners from surviving today's bitter Ghana through their investments? Go build houses and give them out free if you wish. Property owners also live in Ghana and feel the heat from the NDC kitchen. You cannot force them to allow others to live off their investment while they starve. Let Government build free houses for the people if it wishes. Landlords must and will adjust their rents to match the higher cost of living imposed by Government.

  Rent control is very useless and thank God even the government has seen this.They shouldnt be given a pessewa because all they do is to sit & take bribe from land lords.Each & everyday rent is being increased yet they do nothing about it.Lately only the rich and foreigners are able to rent in Accra.I wish one day their office will be burnt down totally because i hate this people with passion.Look at how people are suffering in the hands of Land lords and agents because of the exorbitant fees they charge and you are here crying government should give you money when you do anything.Go and take money from those room agents and land lords because you have made them rich at the expense of the poor.It's only in Ghana that you cannot rent for a year or months yet this people do not do anything about it.God will surely judge you all one day.

  The irony, electricity and water charges has increased astronomically under the guise of providing better service and yet what do we see? Dumso!! How about inflation on the currency? Do landlords have the right to adjust?
  If gov't justifies the increase in taxes is to provide more and better services then why can't landlords increase rent to improve on facilities? I just want a fair play grounds for all in the game of commerce! Gov't cannot charge in US dollars at the ports and yet ban trading in dollars by local companies!
  Gov't should lead by example. Aluta continua! Better Ghana under freedom and justice for all Ghanaians!
