Agya Nduom has been deluding himself over the years. Yes he has made it as a businessman with all the chicanery, arm twisting and subterfuge that go with business practice. Then comes his desire, as is won't of any richman to to self actualize and that is when they think they have power apart from the dame that their wealth gives them. Check on Agya Nduom's businesses if he is paying his employees even twice what the government is doling out to workers. He has become all in all in his party, the PPP. Let's see whether in 2016 he will cede the presidential candidate slot to another person in the PPP.

Yes it is true. Nduom must democratize his party and allow outsiders who are not his employees or hand-picked opportunists, to also meaningfully benefit in the process of elections in the PPP.

Secondly, he should keep his family, including his children from randomly interfering in the pseudo-democratic processes of 'his' party.

After satisfying some of these conditions, he can then mount platforms platforms to sermonize to others as to what is wrong or right in the governance of the country.

The Moderator has made one important observation that the constitution needs to address - "Excessive concentration of political power in the executive arm and other branches have been relegated to a subordinate position".

This situation has had an adverse effect on the growth of our capital market. Everything is centralized in the Executive arm of government such that, every project in the country has to come from Government. Our Regions, Districts and Municipalities have therefore been relegated to subordinate positions. We now have the capital market but none of our Regions, Districts and Municipalities can raise the necessary long term financing from the issuance of bondS to finance their own infrastructure projects, namely water supply, roads, electricity, schools, ICT etc. We need to give these sub-national Governments some autonomy for them to plan, budget and raise most of the financing for the execution of their development projects instead of always waiting on the central Government in Accra to come to their aid. There are long-term funding including pension funds, insurance deposits, mutual funds and investment bank resources etc. that could be used for all this types municipal finance projects but because of this centralized government we have in our country, the funds remain untapped. Instead of donor inflows, we could use our own resources to achieve greater development. Our projects will be well managed because the funds used for implementing them will not be viewed as government money. There will be more transparency and accountability on the part of Government authorities as the financiers will be monitoring such projects on a continuous basis. This will go a long way to stem corruption in the country. There will be more jobs, more wealth created (through infrastructure development, rehabilitation and maintenance) and general growth in all sectors of the economy, including the capital market itself. Let our constitution reflect these changes, Mr. President

J J Rawlings enacted the 1992 constitution for his dictatorship, indeminified himself from his brutality and murderous ways and running the country to the ground. Today, we are all reaping the whirlwind of his brutality. The constitution that he and his cronies enacted should and must be thrown out of the window for it serves us no good as a country and replace it with one written by men and women of reason not under the threat of the gun of a bully. A lot of things need to be changed and the almost unqestionable and almost dictatorial powers of the president be stripped to that of a humanely accountable status. Today the president functions without accountability to any one. That is the reason that he controls state institutions like the Bank of Ghana where almost $600M dissappear without a trace, and the president single handedly could order the airlift of $3M to Brazil and subject Ghana to world ridicule. I know it will be difficult to change anything uner NDC rule, why? because the system as it exist now works to their advantage. But is is only the begining, and in a positive direction, because people now see the deceptive and skewered constitution that protect wrong doers and can talk about without fear of been dragged from your house at night and being executed.

Duties, such as : preparing crime reports and presenting cases, dealing with lost and found property, enforcing road traffic legislation,keeping the peace at public places/events and gathering, recording, analyzing/advising intelligence to achieve community safety and crime reduction objectives.
