Election is a game of numbers. The more you have over your opponent, you come on top so the game is to add to your numbers and not to subtract and with the way we are tearing ourselves apart between Nana Akuffo Addo and Alan Kyerematten supporters, the future looks bleak.

Don't for a moment assume that Ghanaians are going to vote Mahama out because of the economic hardships now. Ghanaians don't vote based on Economic conditions. If they did, they would not have voted Npp out in 2008.

The formula to win 2016 election is not to bank on the fact that Ghanaians will vote Ndc out based on Economic conditions because we have never done that in our nascent political history.

I will write about what we need to win in a couple of weeks. So far, we have not done what we need to do to wrestle power from the Ndc election stealing juggernaut machine that is already steamrolling.

Under normal circumstances the Asantehene should remain neutral when it comes to politics, observe closely and address issues pertaining to the welfare of the people only. This is what Nana Osei Tutu has woefully failed to do. Consequently the Asantehene has lost credibility even in the Asante communities. It's time the sub-chiefs advise him to politically stay neutral in order to redeem the image of the Asante stool period.

I am a staunch Npp supporter but this foolishness from some Npp supporters is getting on my nerves.

Ndc did the same when President Kufuor was in office accusing Asantehene of being Npp supporter and that is why President Kufuor was sending all foreign dignitaries to the Manhyia Palace and I told these Ndc fools to stop that foolishness and I will tell Npp supporters the same thing.

If Asantehene in his personal life prefers ndc to npp, as long as he does not come out and shows it, there is nothing wrong.

Asantehene even since 2008 has given a house to Nana Akuffo Addo in Kumasi where Nana Akuffo Addo stays anytime he is in Kumasi, does it mean he is Npp supporter,?

You guys want Asantehene to campaign for Npp because most Asantes support Npp but his office prevents him from engaging in partisan politics and we have to accept it.

If he goes to the voting booth and vote for Ndc, that is his right as a citizen like you voting for Npp.

Cardinal, there has been many rumours about the Asantehene, including his support with as well as lying in bed with President Mahama, his use of the Presidential Jet for private travels, his complicity in the supposed theft of Asante Gold trinkets in Norway or womewhere there, the errand to bribe Atuguba and gang of nine to deliver the false judgement that nearly sent the nation to war exactly a year ago and has brought the country where we are now, etc, etc. There are too many of these rumours that they cannot all be false! On, I nearly forgot to mention his supposed unease to venture to set foot in Canada! Surely, they cannot all be true, but they cannot all be false, either. So let us endeavour to weed out all the false rumours and beg the Occupant of the Golden Stool to come out and defend the two or three that are true! For example his support and praise for Mahama and his failing NDC government.

We should stop this pointless accusations and embark on strategies that will make us win the election in 2016 instead of this election losing strategy of attacking Asantehene because there are a lot of Asantes out there who don't like this attack on Asantehene which might not make them go out and vote.

We need all votes we can get in Ashanti region to unseat John Dramani Mahama and I don't think attacking Asantehene will send the Asantes to go and vote for Npp. When are we going to learn, Npp people?

Don't burry your head in the sand and act like all these accusations are mere wishful thinking by disloyal Ashantis. Open your eyes to the bribery and corruptions buried deep in Manhyia. The asantehene is not accountable to the people of Ashanti so no one can publicly tell what's going on. He's already in bed with most of the paramount chiefs around him so none of them can raise a finger against him. You can judge his popularity by the reaction of the people when he was rumoured to be dead in South Africa. He is seen as "anti" everything ashantis stand for. When his people are facing genocide in the form of capitation by a government whose members have sworn to cripple the ashantis, where is he at, as a leader? He's doing irreparable harm to the authority of the Golden stool and it is high time somebody told him as it is. He needs to do a lot of work in order to restore the trust of his subjects.

He treated former president Rawlings with decency and courtesy just as he did to former president Kuffour and ex president John Attah Mills. He once advised the partisan nut jobs that, if anyone finds it necessary to spew cabbage at a perceived opponent, it is equally important to let the public know the good side of that person. His position as a King in Ghana makes him a statesman, a diplomat and an ambassador extraordinaire. He can only praise in public and express disappointments in private, especially political matters.
