Why not shame unto President Kufour who was awarding contracts and taking them later to creat judgement debt for NPP shares before leaving office. All the judgement debts were created by Kufour so stop blaming the one paying ...

Nobody would have known about these debts if NPP were to be in power. They saw the loop-hole and took advantage of it. Shame unto NPP government, all of them are thieves.

I think the Supreme Court did not complete their judgement on the case. One GHc to the dollar at the time of judgement is different from One GHc now. The GHc51.2 should have been multiplied by two or three to serve as deteran ...

I hope he conducts research into models that help the average person make a good living without education or money. He shouldn't buy big cars and houses and leave others behind. How can Africans be stowing away and seeking economic asylum when all of this money is in the system? Ask of the judgment awards that must be retrieved from Mrs Rawlings an others.

That is just 5 million about 10 percent of what he needs to come up with. That would be the least of his worries because if the high court convicts him, he will be going to prison and you Ewes cannot do anything about it.

That will be making him a scapegoat. This is the chance to forestall an injustice that is likely to be committed by future governments, and the way to do it is to write a law prohibiting "create, loot and share".

Prez Kuffour increased the number of Justices of the Supreme Court to review the same judgment of the court in which Tsatsu was initially discharged. The same court, with the new additions, reviewed the same case and found Tsatsu guilty this time round. That is how he ended up in prison. So the Supreme Court can be requested to review its own ruling. Woyome should request for full empanelment of the 15 or so justices. So Ayikoi is wrong on this.

The goose and the gander we all know are the same animal, which are classified as birds because they have feathers. It is said that what is good for the goose is equally good for the gander. We have been informed that some former ministers in the NPP led government went to a court outside Ghana just two months ago to witness for a foreign company which brought a matter against Ghana in London. We are not sure if the matter that was the bone of contention was ratified by the Ghanaian parliament.
Thus from the above Mr. Ayikoi Otu and other members of the NPP are snakes with double tong. If a judgement issue concerns a foreign company in which NPP members have interest and Akans it is a right cause. If the party requesting the compensation is not connected to the NPP and an Akan then it is a bad case and robbery.
I am of the view that the recent ruling of the Supreme Court does not enhance the image of Ghana. The Supreme Court has said that the Ghanaian state is a rogue state that had agreements with parties and refuse to have them ratified by its parliament so that it could avoid paying for them and their breach thereof.
This type of approach by our courts is leading to the increase in the cost of doing business and contracts for construction and other services. Companies and individuals dealing with our state institutions will have to buy insurance to be on the safe side if the state refuse to pay for what it consumed or is using.
To me the ruling by the Supreme Court of Ghana in this Alfred Agbesi Woyome case has proved once again how Ghanaians fill proud that they are unruly. This ruling does not enhance our image before the international community. We as a nation as a matter of fact must bow down our heads in shame. It is a shame.

To begin with, let's agree as a people that we must punish crime irrespective of the colours of the flag that it flies. Whether the France Flag or the Palestinian Flag!! More than 2000 prisoners are languishing in jail country-wide, the cumulative economic value of whose crime will not sum up to GHC20.0 million. Are we being fair and serving the ends of justice to them? Throughout the years and regimes, politicians and public servants with the active collaboration with the private sector have planted and nurtured corrupt practices to the detriment of mother Ghana and the masses. Ironically, the masses are those who mass up in their misplaced loyalty and sympathy to defend these sophisticated robbers of the public treasury when the crime is detected and and the suspect is on trial. As for me Ananse-boy, I have made my mind. In the developed economies where law works, families and friends are the first to report and disown their own to let justice take its course. And that is the way I have chosen. Let's have conscience and save our country form poverty!!!
