As for the argument about re-denomination coming from the camp of the NDC and their allies like Bernard Mornah l'll say these arguments are from little brains, lazy minds that don't think. They prefer to see the old ways of carrying bulk monies around which get attracted by armed robbers and not safe for business because they have no interest in creating businesses of their own. They prefer to move from radio station to radio station and talk and just depend on government. If they truly think knocking off zeros from the cedi is the reason for this hopeless economy then the solution is easy, the government should just start adding the zeros to any new currency printed, and gradually face out the ones with less zeros. Useless minds turning themselves into selfish opinion leaders.

It is announced for the information of prospective applicants that Cambridge Senior High School is admitting students into SHS 1, 2 and the Remedial School.

The courses being offered include General Arts, Business and General Science. BOARDING facilities are available for both males and females. More importantly, the fees are moderate. All the tutors are experienced examiners. The school is located at North Suntreso-Kumasi on Sunyani Road near Bekwai Roundabout.

It is quite clear that Sam George and perhaps many others in the NDC are afraid of Nana Addo's resolve to contest the presidency, come 2016. But the NDC has created and is still creating conditions for people to vote them out whether Nana does or does not contest in 2016.
It is unfortunate that Sam George was either a baby or not even born in the middle of late 1970's to understand that the only other time in Ghana's history when Ghanaians experienced economic hardships of today's magnitude was that time. Demonstrations of today’s magnitude went on then, and the result was that Ghanaians yearned; their hearts ached and called for a change. The only difference between demonstrations of that time and today’s is that today’s demonstrators are not beaten by soldiers. Thanks for the democracy that Nana Addo and others led the people of Ghana to fight for, which was strongly opposed by Rawlings and many leaders in today’s NDC.
Two coups (one palace and one real) and one uprising resulted from the constant demonstrations. And in fact the public acceptance of the 1979 coup was perhaps as great as that of 1966- the only other coup completely accepted by most Ghanaians.
So if Mahama is not worried about the economic hardships and its resulting demonstrations and agitations, then he is either too brave or what I believe he is not. For, it is stupidity not to recognize danger when it is too close at hand. Late President H. Liman thought he was that brave and was punished severely by Rawlings. Today’s demonstrations and agitations may not result in military intervention as they did in 1979 (for most Ghanaians have come to accept the meaninglessness of military rule), but the fact still remains that the PEOPLE ARE CALLING FOR CHANGE.
If the Mahama –led administration fails to recognize and accept this fact and take drastic and speedy measures to bring meaningful and positive relief to the people within the next 12 months, then the people would have no other option but to vote for change in 2016, no matter who leads the NPP -even if Asiedu Nketia crosses carpet and by miracle becomes NPP’s flag-bearer.
Baby-boy, Sam George, this is food for thought. Share it with the President when you dine with him! Ghana must be saved for all!

Why at all in the name of politics can we turn a blind eye to the realities on the ground? The plain truth is governments exist to manage economics and so nations. A government that has been in power for over a year would definitely demonstration vivid signs of capabilities to salvage the economy! There will be clear signs of improvement not just talk-talk.

The near economic downturn in Obama's USA typified by the mortgage issues a few years was confronted head-on by the American president with pragmatic and workable measures. And now see things have changed for the better for the Americans.

So it's all about leadership not blind political convenience and support! Let the so called "small boys" officials of the government keep their silence and allow raw performance do the talking and not hasten to bark at the candid and just opinion of their "political foes". When they perform and turn the economy round, and lessen the sufferings of the masses and strengthen our businesses they may win some hearts over come next election else they should forget about 2016. They won't deserve to stay in power!
