Investigate and find out from BBC and CNN how some African migrant workers are treated as sub humans in the Arab countries advertised. The Government should educate Ghanaians how these crooks lie to people. The moment you get there, your passport is taken away and you are quarantined to work against your.

My first reaction to this article was, here we go again. These idle over-paid UN staff doing almost nothing for a lot of pay. Sometimes I really do wonder if Ghana should continue paying her subscriptions to that so-called World body.
I would also wish that our equally lazy and despondent leaders in the health sector would also get off their black asses and come out periodically with statistics of the state of the health conditions in Ghana instead of worrying about buying fancy cars to ride in to their offices and back home. We cannot continue to be patronized by these non-productive international Civil Servants forever.
Occasionally they come out with these dramatic statistics only just to prove to their paymasters that they are doing plenty of serious work over in these under-developed countries where anyone can say or write anything untruthful about them and get away with it.
It may be true that there is a lot of work that remains to be done to improve our health system, but the interests to humanity of the UN - if any, would be better served if they got off their fat backsides out of their air-conditioned offices, air-conditioned houses and air-conditioned cars and did something practical and positive about it, instead of standing on the sidelines like spectators and crying wolf all the time.

Ghana's population is projected to reach 40 million by 2050 while Holands population today 18 million will be 18 million in 2050...Holland currently takes good care of its people while Ghana does not...
Even more shocking Nigeria will have a population of 300 million in 2050! Talk about not cutting your coat according to your size.

The Health Ministry is responsible for better education for the women, also the hospital workers, especially the nurses and pediatricians. So, why is it so difficult to do it. This culture of neglect is killing new born babies in Ghana, as well as in other Africa countries. Are we going to improve our Health dispensation, I mean Health systems, or continue to be corrupt and do nothing? At least, now you know, let the Ministry of Health take action and make things better for these new born babies. This is my point.
