The value of the Cedi has depreciated steeply since he collected the money, and 51.2 million Cedis no longer represent the value of the amount he collected today.

He should be given something but 5% might be too much. But then again, this guy may not take even a pesewa if what I have been reading about him is true. I understand he is too straight an arrow to even consider an idea like that. He may consider the whole idea as blasphemous.

The suggestion is not to give Amidu 5% of Woyome's money. He should rather be paid his court costs. Taking a blanket 5% slice of the Woyome money, irrespective of his costs, would make Amidu no different from Woyome.
