If Julor Jato Rawlings and his p/NDC gangsters were interested in a free and fair elections, they would have handed over to a transitional govt to organise the 1992 elections.

When the people of Cape Coast were without water and students of UCC had to travel kilometres to look for water to do basic washing, he, as the then deputy attorney-general, facilitated the loot of the century to hand over +-US$25 million to Woyome - for no work done for Ghana. It is OK to have a verdict which requires the money to be paid back. But, what has this got to do with this charge and misguided comments 'Look at the level of the people that we entrusted State responsibility to, and look at their level of education and experience and exposure; just for one man to dribble all these people'.
There are 'clever' people all over the world who do these kind of things. But one way or the other they are brought to justice. This is what matters. It should not be about any one's education, experience, etc.

President Mahama has identified the problem: economic structure is not part of the economic problem but the dominant cause.

Foreign direct investment and the local content law and policy is the key driver for prosperity in Ghana and Africa.

President Mahama should not allow that solid local content policy and solution to be undermined by saboteurs and ignorant critics of Ghana. That is the real Ghana home-grown policy and solution.

That solid policy will drive foreign direct investment, build the infrastructure, create employment, reduce inflation because of the competition of the investors and the goods produced, eliminating falling Cedi value and increasing the national and the international reserves by import substitution and finally a balanced annual Budget.

Or does he want NDC to behave like NPP by putting Tsikata in jail despite the Attorney General's department losing the case? Then, he will publish in his mushroom newspaper that NDC is using Authoritative government? I wish he could decipher the whole issue and ask the government and GBA to sanction all those involved in the case. Ghana judiciary stinks like a rotten egg or sulphide.

The late President Mills claims from the EOCO report that he instructed them not to pay on two occasions and yet when they paid what did he do to those who did not obey his instruction, why did the President not instruct the Attorney General's department to open up a defense anyway. Mr. Amidu was sacked for talking too much. Don't blame the player, blame the game. Every good government would try to defend cases brought against it and even try to reduce it. But they did not even file a defense. Let the man be Kwaku he was acting on a lot of people's behalf.

Despite the advancement in computing and telecommunication, which will create transparency for the country, the Ghanaians in power refuse to get it implemented this way. So they can have the black holes where they can steal. The finance minister doesn't know how much money the country takes in each year, He has to rely in the bureaucrats to tell him. Those are the people who cook the deals to rob the country. The MOEducation chief director is currently robbing the country through the laptops scheme. He's teamed up with his sidekick, the director of ICT, to purchase inferior quality laptops from china (30,000) and then sell them to the government at inflated prices. The Minister of Education knows nothing about it. This is what is killing the country. There is no connectivity in the systems which leads to clusters of people cooking up schemes to defraud. If there was proper computer system across the board in place, Wayome's claimed could have easily been verified and thrown out.
