  If most of these mining engineering graduates cannot team up with colleagues in other disciplines including civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, geologists, accountants etc. to form their own mining companies, then there is not much to celebrate over this milestone. If those Galamsey guys can venture into micro/small mining operations, these graduates can do far better. THE MESSAGE TO THESE MEN AND WOMEN SHOULD BE THAT THEY NEED NOT LOOK TO THE GOVERNMENT TO PROVIDE THEM WITH JOBS. THEY SHOULD GO OUT THERE AND CREATE, MAKE AND INNOVATE. In so doing, they will not only be creating jobs for themselves and many others in our country, but they stand to CREATE ENORMOUS WEALTH FOR THEMSELVES IN THE FUTURE. WEALTHY PEOPLE DO NOT WORK FOR GOVERNMENT (BARRING CORRUPTION), THEY WORK FOR THEMSLVES. If these graduates come up with bankable mining proposals as a team of experts, many other stakeholders including the banks will come to their aid in terms of financing. DO NOT BE AFRAID, TAKE SOME RISKS AND YOU WILL SUCCEED.

  The promises are just too many. How can a govt that has withdrawn research allowance now to give money to support research, its a big lie and a joke. No wonder now chiefs and people of various regions, towns and villages are on the neck of the president giving him ultimatum to fulfill promises. They promised one time payment of NHIS and instead gave cash and carry.
