Reading the comments should tell you the reasons why corruption in the public sector are not been reported. Victimisation is the cause of this by public servant. " they say is like washing your dirty linen in public. So what do you do?

Call the press, go to anti-corruption campaign institutions, write to the auditor general's office, confront corrupt government officials with prove of their corruption and tell them that you will report them to the police and appropriate government anti- corruption authorities, name and shame them on the radio when you have concrete evidence. In general, let all citizens make it difficult for corrupt officials to survive in their job, no matter how senior they are in the government system.

Ghanaians are not reporting the cases of corruption because the majority of these corruption are all hearsay. We are incredibly fond of inventing things and spreading them like bush fires. Having said so does not mean corruption is not going on in the lower and higher circles of our society. For many, all of us are corrupt. There isn't a single person in the society who can testify with all honesty that he or she has not duped a fellow. Children dupe their own parents and friends, adults do the same to themselves, to the state, to and in the government they work, in companies and sectors they work and so on. It is a moral problem which needs an intrinsic education of everybody instead of passing the buck to others. If the present generation can re-align their habit to do away with corruption, subsequent generations will be without it.
