The borders of Ghana are very porous, with even fishermen from Liberia coming by sea into the country. That is a more likely source of Ebola entry into the country than the air travelers so there is no guarantee that banning flights will exclude Ebola patients;

The fruit bat is the natural host of Ebola but monkeys and other bush animals are also easily infected and can transmit the disease to humanns. Could we also ban the fruit and bush animals from entering Ghana?
What's more urgent at this time is public education on how to protect ourselves from Ebola. Are people still eating bats, bush meat and stray dogs?
