Nana Akuffo-Addo, as a tradition, always launches his campaign by attacking and desecrating the very high office he is aiming to occupy. He did it at Osu in 2008 and has done it again only last week with his "cluelessness and incompetence". NPP needs to make the party attractive by refraining from using foul language to send home their point. This, unfortunately is usually started by Nana Akuffo-Addo himself who should instead be giving his followers the right example to follow. Tod, tod tod............

The NDC behaves just like American politicians. Every time they see their prestige falling down another notch below the line of public acceptability, they crank up their vile propaganda machine to spew out, what merely amounts to childish nonsense and garbage in the public domain. I think people should just ignore them.

In addition, I think that it would be in the interest of the NDC themselves to support Nana Addo's quest to succeed Mahama and to stop stirring up trouble in the public domain.

Doesnt the NDC have level-headed activists sniffing around on the ground to gauge their popularity or otherwise in the public domain? Well it seems that they dont, and for that matter, I will offer them some free consultancy in their own interest and in the interest of the stability of our dear mismanaged country which they are trying to destroy.

First of all, I wish to emphasize that, I am not by any measure an NPP supporter. I am at the moment, an ardent and an extremely dejected nationalist.

The reality of the situation is that the sensibilities of Ghanaians are so vexed and high up in arms against the incompetence of the NDC govt that, if the administrators and NDC govt officials had any sense at all in their heads, they would publicly surrender or rather take it easy on the next most viable Presidential alternative, Nana Akuffo-Addo.

The atmosphere is so tense in the country that, anything - and I mean anything, can happen at any moment and anybody associated with the NDC in this country would definitely be the worse-off for it - that is to say the least. I myself, I currently fear for all politicians, not only the NDC govt officials. The anger of the people is going beyond reasonable bounds and if something quick is not done about it, I fear for the worst.

For the NDC to continue to stoke the fires of social rebellion, by their continued provocation of Ghanaians through their continued application of vile and vulgar propaganda, defies belief. It is as if they are stubbornly stuck on a suicidal trajectory of self-destruction and annihilation.

To all intents and purposes there seems to be nothing much that the NDC govt can do to ameliorate the situation they have driven us into. Any move they make, even with the best of intentions, turns out into abject failure and more irritation in the public domain.

The NDC, through the abysmal and pathetic ineptitude of the current President, John Mahama, has willfully driven this country into the precipice of a classic coup d'etat scenario.

Nothing that the NDC says, will be entertained as credible - even by their own supporters on the ground now. They should immediately cease all the silly and stupid propaganda if the tension will be abated to enable them to coast to the elections of 2016.

I wonder whether former President Abdul Diouf of Senegal would have been voted for in Ghana(no offense intended). It's about competencies and not stature and looks that we use in governing a country. Just today it's been confirmed that Ghana is going to the IMF for a bail out package which this NDC govt denied since some months ago.
