  If the man turned himself over to the authorities what makes them think he was absconding.If he can show prove that he was indeed ill and was seeking treatment in his village then he must be granted bail cosigned by himself.We must understand that Mr.Avemega is presumed innocent under the law until the court can prove his guilt beyond reasonable doubt.
