THE EARLIER WE DO AWAY WITH POLITICS AND TELL THE TRUTH THE BETTER. IF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE DOES NOT COME TO THE AID OF THE TEACHING HOSPITALS, PATIENTS WOULD CONTINUE TO DIE EVERYDAY. CHECK THE EMERGENCY UNITS OF ALL THE MAJOR TEACHING HOSPITALS AND ASSESS THE PROBLEM YOURSELF. IT IS SAD. THIS INCOMPETENT NDC GOVT HAS MESSED UP THE ECONOMY WHICH HAS DIRECT EFFECT ON HEALTH DELIVERY IN THE COUNTRY.

If you hate NPP that much I think having your head properly balanced on your two shoulders, you will admit that this Mahama led administration is not fit for purpose. I always maintain here that I am not partisan but when something is that bad as we see now, it has to be said. Please wake up and smell the morning coffee. Our national-international reserve stood at 3.1 billion but has drastically dropped to 900million" Figures from an ex-Finance MInister Osfo Maafo.

This is the situation that Ghana finds herself today. Do we have to support a government that is incapable? Do we have to support a government on tribal lines? What else do we need to convince us to change? Even the animal has the brain to think and react when it sees danger.

As usual. every-ones bipartisan to party takes front and center stage over what confronts us regarding this scheme.
First, was this NHIS set up well from its onset to sustain itself or was it a political ploy which eventually becomes a program that needs to be subsidized by government?
If the program was put in place without solvency in mind, then it was set to fail from the beginning. It is therefore not worth the paper it is written on. chalk it as one of K4s hollow political programs.
If it was setup not to eventual fall on the government for a bailout, then, parliamentarians from all sides should be livid about this and demand answers. Bring the one in-charge of the program to parliament for a probe. And if that person is inefficient, has no clue, demand that person is fired or even imprisoned. Ghana is in a rush to progress and so not tolerate ones who don't do their jobs.
