400MW annually lost and what is the ECG doing? The BA minister should take the lead and have rooftop solar energy in the residence, regional office, offices of the DCEs and their residences, the numerous churches, palaces, schools and make it compulsory for all estate developers to add rooftop solar energy. There is so much from the Sun to develop Africa. Half a million homes and 400 large scale businesses in Britain are solarised.
That is the way forward. A feed in tariff for rooftop would encourage Ghanaian to go green. The White House has rooftop solar energy, why not the Flagstaff House, Peduase Lodge, trasasco, Regimanuel, Manet, East Legon, Kweku Dua's palace in Kumasi?

Why do you extend electricity to many rural areas where they cannot even pay the bills when you do not have enough power for the urban areas? The urban areas are where you find factories and all kinds of commercial activities so it does not make sense to hook many communities when the transmission is not enough.The way we distribute electricity in the country is wrong and to be reviewed.I am not against giving rural areas electricity but what is the use if they cannot pay for it or this will cause outage all the time.It is not neither economic prudent or politically correct.Thank you.
