  Why is the chief fixated on this video? Is this the only immoral act that has happened in Tamale? When his “own” people stole millions meant for the area in “GYEEDA” etc., did he have them publicly caned – those people are right under his nose and yet he does not smell that immoral crime that went down. What has the parents got to do with this act? If he wants the guy in Canada, he can go through Interpol. Seriously, what is this Sharia law he is talking about in Ghana - what an insane person Tamale has for a chief.

  What the Tamale Chief said about rain patten in Tamale as a result of sex is not true. If sex will prevent rain from falling then, it will mean that because there are more guinea fowls in the North these days which are having sex, then invariably there will not be rainfall.
  It will also mean that the chief want to state further that if population increases, life stock and other domestic animals increase and have sex it will prevent rain from falling. All that is absurd.
  When you tell Muslims in Ghana and West Africa they their words and actions support Boko Haram they say no. But this is one of such example of a person supporting the laws of Boko Haram.

I guess the most irreprehensible acts that should offend the gods are the armed robbery and senseless killings (spilling of innocent blood) of human beings in that region/ town. I guess prostitution must also offend the gods out there. And what's the chie saying about that?
  Well, my humble advise to the Chief is that, he must leave the matter to the his gods to exact vengeance /punishment to that guy. Isn't that he thinks his gods are powerful? Let the gods act then if they have power. Tamale and indeed Northern region is battling with so many challenges- poverty, unemployment, communal fighting- these are the issues that must engage the attention of the leaders out there, I guess.
  Indeed much ado about nothing.

  The Chief should know that we live in 2014. He is a Ghanaian just like the young man and he cannot take the young man's life. We are all equal before the law. Perhaps, in the 19th century, he could have such powers but not now.

  The Chief is just on an ego trip. Where does he derive his power (to kill) from? He does not have any power to punish anybody. Just fancy the Asantehene making such comments!!
